Decor in bedroom is tired now. No headboard on bed.

Conveniently located at top of hill and only 100 yards or so down a gently sloping road to ‘city’ centre. Ample parking, good restaurant serving very good breakfasts. Large room with large wide bed. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect location for visit to St. Davids

Our travel to St. Davids happened to be when the birds take to the trees next to the hotel for mating season so could be heard from sunup to sundown and they were loud. At least we knew they were mostly quiet after dark so we were able to get some sleep:)

Good location for our visit to St. Davids. Our understanding was that the hotel recently had a management change so still a work in progress but overall, our stay was good. We had several meals in the cafe located in the hotel and felt that the food was good. No elevator or AC but temps were cool and we left window open at night.

Room could have been cleaner. We found dust balls on the floor and spiders in the corners of the ceiling. Only one obvious power point. Couldn't charge our phones at the same time. Cheap bread and orange juice at breakfast.

Staff. Cooked breakfast. Coffee. Comfortable bed.

The room was a little on the small side but we knew this from previous visits. It was also a little tired looking and in need of refurbishment. However it was clean and tidy. For a short break it was all we required, friendly staff and clean.

The hotel could do with a complete update. The carpets and furnishings were worn and a coat of paint everywhere would make a huge difference. There was a general feeling that the hotel was understaffed .!

Staff super friendly, especially the lady who checked us in. The room was small but clean.

Our food was not value for money, and although we knew there was decorating going on. We didn't expect two large sets of double doors to be wide open at seven in the evening. The food was cold and we were cold. My mixed grill was OK but the chicken and sausage were dry as though they had been standing a long time under lights. My wife's sirloin was undercooked, she asked for medium and it was tough. My rump steak was lovely, just all got cold so quickly, and management didn't seem that interested The room was OK but tired, which I expected with a three star and the rooms were generally clean. EXCEPT! Around the door handles where there was clearly no routine cleaning carried out. PHOTO SUPPLIED. Considering its £90 per night with breakfast not included. We think it was poor value for money.

Looked lovely from the outside, and in a lovely area.

A bit tired and could do with a lick of paint and a spruce up, but did not detract from our stay.

The images available on Booking.com make the property appear much more recently done up, while in reality the place is in need of a face lift. The pub closes at 9pm, after which checking in is complicated. We were not offered two rooms close to each other, as requested- one was on the first floor (no lift) and the other was on the ground floor.

Good location, ample parking, comfortable beds, breakfast seemed affordable but unable to comment as we did not have it.
