Couple minor things, didn't spoil our stay, could do with an extra double socket in the room, carpet in room could do with a wash.

Had an excellent stay, the staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and very nice, the room was clean and bed comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Will definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it.

The outside and reception and eating areas were very dated and needed a good facelift. First impressions and all. So we were very pleasantly surprised by the redecorated room.

The new room we were in was recently refurbished. It was so bright, huge and comfortable! Staff very friendly. Round the corner from the front. Good parking. Very happy!

Brilliant location, just a 10 min walk from beach and shops. Clean and spacey rooms. Comfy bed and sofa with a smart TV. Furniture a little old and outdated but not an issue. Pool and hot tub were small and simple but still good. Free parking available round the back bur very tight car park! Great value for money

The hotel has a certain charm but is a bit rough round the edges and tired and probably needs a refurb or some money spending on it!

The location was very good; near to railway station and centre. Rooms were clean and spacious.

There was nothing that we did not like especially as they have only just resently opened there doors

Access to top floor bedrooms no lift. Lovely old building. But Needs up grading. Lot of coach trips.In hotel Bar not open only over meal times. ..

Parking fee is expensive but very little option in the area. Breakfast had shown high reviews so disappointed when bacon was so hard I couldn't cut it. Not the fault of the hotel at all, but be aware that if you arrive late evening there may well be nowhere in the local area still serving food (half past nine)apart from the Chinese takeaway a short, steep walk up hill. A surprise for a Bank Holiday Monday. There are a lot of steps so beware if you have mobility issues.

Clean room, comfortable bed, located not far from the sea front. The pre-booked parking space was clearly marked.

Our room fronted the main road and we were intermittently woken by trucks driving past. There were no hooks by the door for hanging coats and dog leashes. Otherwise no complaints.

Friendly staff. Great hospitality. Rooms were clean and tidy. The decor and wall treatment were lovely and inviting. Tea and coffee services were provided. Our dog was also very happy.

Our room was not situated in the best possible place - right on top of the car park. Disappointed to find that apart from breakfast there was no other food available.

Couldn’t fault breakfast. Continental and full English options. . Room was comfortable if a little ‘jaded’ windows were old sash type and didn’t fit well. Single glazed. Room was kept very clean with towels changed every day.
