We had a small issue when we got there no fault of the owners and was dealt with and sorted straight away. We would definitely stay again. So clean and tidy lovely view. Highly recommended sad to leave.

Not a dislike but it would be useful to amend the facilities list that there is a cafetière and a Nespresso type coffee maker.

I thought the decor was very good, the facilities and layout was also well thought out and worked well with the space. Nice bathroom and great bedding

Relaxing, quiet, comfortable and very clean. Lovely views. Easy bus route into Whitby. Hot shower and bath. Board games available. Fully equipped kitchen. Wifi very good.

Everything perfect!

Home from home. Such a gorgeous place the little extras that were left for the kids made them smile popcorn crisps biscuits chocolate. Such a godsend when properties provide tea coffee sugar and other essentials. Beds really comfortable. Even managed to see some deer. Lovely for a walk into Whitby too.

Not really a criticism more of an observation, the website doesn't make it clear that the cottage is on a complex which attaches onto another building, was expecting the property to be singular. Walls are a little thin, each night out of the 3 we stayed, we would be woken to persons laughing outside and doors banging, can hear almost word for word next doors conversations.

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed for our short stay. Very clean and well thought of. We live rural ourselves, so we didn't find the hill leading to the property a problem. Obviously, we got lucky with the weather, so we can understand it being a completely different situation all together deep winter.

My only issue was the lack of power in the shower, but it didn't spoil my stay.

The location was perfect for us. It was clean, and we had everything we needed for our stay. My son wanted to buy the cottage he loved it that much. We will be back next year (maybe before). The beds were the comfiest we have ever had. Ample space for a family of 4. We even saw some deer.

The kitchen hot water tap and the shower had a very slow flow rate, making filling a bowl to wash up very slow and taking a shower painfully slow. Having said that the bath hot water tap had a high flow and it was very very hot.

Although we did not meet the hosts, we did interact via the booking messaging and communication was spot on. The cottage was well laid out, bedroom at each end, with the kitchen and living space in the middle. (Shower and toilet near one of the rooms.) As the doors were like gates, it was difficult to open / close them without making a noise, although not excessive in anyway, they were louder than a normal interior door would have been. Beds were very comfortable, facilities supplied and welcome pack much appreciated. Coffee, tea and milk also supplied, as were clean towels. Would return without a doubt.
