Unfortunately on the top floor .....phew ,quite a climb . No TV ,long time since I stayed in self-catering without a TV . Pretty basic lounge furniture, well worn bedlinen . Mismatch of crockery,several chipped pieces . Felt the general appearance was tired ,could do with an update .

Really good position for seeing the sites of Edinburgh. Good heating and hot water. Nice view of the theatre and Usher Hall.

Number of steps. Since we have few large suitcase , we found it difficult to transport to 2nd floor.

Check out was way too early. The cleaning lady was unnecessarily annoyed when asking us to leave, and mattresses felt quite old.

The appartment was on the third floor so quite a lot of steps to go up and down. This wasn't and issue for my friend and I but could put off others.

Amazing location! 2 double rooms and 2 bathrooms worked well for 2 friends sharing the appartment.

Difficult to carry luggage up 3 floors, but have to say that the host was clear about not having an elevator. The Pub downstairs was very noisy at night, had trouble sleeping.

The apartment was well equipped, clean, comfortable, and the location was great. It is quite old but functional, and good value for money overall.

The furniture, decor and linens give it a bit of an outdated look & feel. The couch in the living room is not comfortable for adults to sleep on.

The location is perfect, just a short walk to the castle and Princes street. The host was kind and accomodating.

Ha… well, it’s over sixty steps up, no lift. I note this for those who may have a problem with mobility. A TV would be a nice addition.

Bright, airy and comfy, well kitted out, the owner was very polite and helpful. Just as pictured. Thank you would stay again. Location excellent. Clean and tidy. Good having two bathrooms. Gorgeous high ceilings.

The location of this place is top notch, everything is made easy, from finding the property to getting the key and the booklet left by the owners was really helpful. We went with two small children (4&7) and it was exactly what we needed. We honestly can’t think of a bad word to say about the place, it’s definitely on the list for a return visit!!

Unfortunately, the location although fabulous in terms of being close to the attractions, was close to a night club; this meant that due to the noise during the night, getting a good night's sleep was problematic. For some, this may not be an issue.

The flat was a good size and comfortable. It is located close to most tourist attractions, beautiful restaurants, theatres and bars.

The central location is excellent, but there is a club downstairs next door that is open every night to 3am. You can't hear a thing from the club, but people queuing outside can make a noise. I am a light sleeper, for other people this might not be a problem. And the trade off is, as I say, a great central location

One of the best equipped apartments I have stayed in in Edinburgh, and I have stayed din a lot over the years. Two bathrooms was a bonus. Well-equipped kitchen. Very good value for money.

I strongly recommend! The location is amazing. 10-15 minutes walk to the castle, 15 minutes from the train station. The flat is perfect for two couples, even 3. The coordination with Jeff was perfect.

Difficult to find negatives, but apparement could have had a TV just for some background noise, and curtains as when blinds are closed, streetlights shine through.

Location, apparement is a stone throw away from the main pubs and bar in Edinburgh, and 10-15 minute walk to both main Edinburgh train stations.
