Was close to town centre and beaches. Clean and tidy room. Lovely breakfast. Steam bar was relaxing . Overall great value.

Cobwebs in our room which surprised us as booked a superior room. Hotel is a bit shabby in places. Carpets quite grubby looking but minor things really as didn't detract from our stay here.

Lovely location. Good food. Staff were polite and friendly. Nice room with fantastic views. Plenty of hot water and big fluffy bath sheets. Very comfortable and warm. Great breakfast. Good bar and restaurant.

Pillows in bed were quite flat and uncomfortable. Carpet was quite dirty but I understand it’s a very old building. The blue light for the bathroom radiator was very bright and was hard to sleep- got up in the night and balanced my shoe on a chair to cover the light. At first we got given the wrong room- paid for a twin and we were put into a double, went to reception and we got our room changed- the room was much bigger and better and had a slight sea view too. Toilet seat was a bit wonky- every time we sat on it it would move to one side a lot.

Breakfast was very nice. Lovely breakfast staff. Great location! Good car park! Great lighting in bedroom- multiple wall lamps and reading lights. Overall great value, would stay again!!

One or two minor problems, that we could work round easily, e.g. the TV remote wouldn't switch the TV off, so we just switched off at the mains. Also the plug wouldn't release the water from the bath so we just left it there!

The staff were without exception friendly, cheerful and helpful in everything. The way they had organised the details of our Christmas meal was very impressive and we felt completely at ease and enjoyed it entirely.

Wonderful view of the beach and bay. Nice to watch the surfers braving the cold sea whilst we viewed from warm room with a coffee. Good breakfast. Parking arranged as extra small cost but all spaces marked up with names. Close to local bars/restaurants inc nice bar in hotel.

1. The walls are paper thin. At times I felt as though someone was going to walk through my door. 2. Carpet in room was clean and soft but could tell floor is uneven. 3. The hot water takes a long time to heat and the pressure from the hot water in the shower is not good. 4. I had to ask them to boost my heating which was no problem for them to do. 5. The hallways and decor of the hotel is the outdated. From the outside it looks like a local pub. 6. I stayed for 3 nights and paid £21 for parking. No free blue badge parking. 7. Bedroom window and window in eating area had bird poo. I’m sure they would clean if asked.

1. Fantastic Budget Hotel. 2. Right on the Beach. Perfect location. 3. Breakfast was amazing and just enough. I really loved the eggs and salmon and hot chocolate! 4. The staff were all so very helpful. Customer Service on point. 5. My room was clean, light and spacious. Just what I wanted. 6. Extra hot chocolate and biscuits were given without a fuss. 7. Elemis shower gel and soap. 8. King Size Comfy Bed. 9. Fresh Towels every day, if required. 10. The hotel itself is clean. 11. Request Sea view room and parking (parking is £7 a night) 12. Live music on a Friday Night (if that’s your thing)
