Drainage issue, smell of drains. Staff were prompt in changing our rooms. Parking was an issue ended up dropping bags to park streets away.

Beautiful location. Great choice of breakfast with a continental buffet included. Staff friendly and helpful.

Location is first class. View from the restaurant is the best in the world. Helpful friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Best spot in Newquay for price and value.

Just needs updating

A very proffessional facility. Just needs updating. Feels a little out of date. But the staff are totally professional. And curtious. The rooms need a refresh though. But if you need somewhere to lay your head. This is perfect. Been there several times. And always recieve a profesional and freindly welcome.

I like the location it's by the sea and central location. A 10 minute walk to town centre and more beaches. Right near to my sons flats.

Very central location in the heart of Newquay and looking over the beaches. Good menu choices for food.

No fault of the hotel but the double beds are just to small for me and the Mrs and to soft for my back the beds are like sleeping on clouds but this is all personal preference and in no way a Problem overall I would say it was a excellent stay

The room was a bit cold and others guests were a bit noisy on our last night...but all in all happy.

Cobwebs in our room which surprised us as booked a superior room. Hotel is a bit shabby in places. Carpets quite grubby looking but minor things really as didn't detract from our stay here.

Lovely location. Good food. Staff were polite and friendly. Nice room with fantastic views. Plenty of hot water and big fluffy bath sheets. Very comfortable and warm. Great breakfast. Good bar and restaurant.

Pillows in bed were quite flat and uncomfortable. Carpet was quite dirty but I understand it’s a very old building. The blue light for the bathroom radiator was very bright and was hard to sleep- got up in the night and balanced my shoe on a chair to cover the light. At first we got given the wrong room- paid for a twin and we were put into a double, went to reception and we got our room changed- the room was much bigger and better and had a slight sea view too. Toilet seat was a bit wonky- every time we sat on it it would move to one side a lot.

Breakfast was very nice. Lovely breakfast staff. Great location! Good car park! Great lighting in bedroom- multiple wall lamps and reading lights. Overall great value, would stay again!!

One or two minor problems, that we could work round easily, e.g. the TV remote wouldn't switch the TV off, so we just switched off at the mains. Also the plug wouldn't release the water from the bath so we just left it there!

The staff were without exception friendly, cheerful and helpful in everything. The way they had organised the details of our Christmas meal was very impressive and we felt completely at ease and enjoyed it entirely.
