Excellent room, spacious nicely furnished, and excellent bathroom, some people might prefer room with to but I just want to relax then sleep

It felt unsecured- we were not able to lock our door when leaving the room so we left our belongings in the car. No tea or coffee making facilities. The only access to the property was to ring the doorbell which woke us up during the night when other occupants were coming in. The bathroom was clean but the bath mat was filthy. Lots of ingrained dirt on it. No Tv.

The shower was great! The host was friendly and welcoming.

Everything was ok , but it one thing bring it down it's noisy throughout the night , people coming and going ringing the door bell , Joe the host was great , its the system they have in place that adds to the noise , ie door bell ringing , due to no room keys or front door , the property is monitored 24/7 and is clean and your stuff is safe . its just a bit noisy is all . other than that a good stay

They overbooked the place I was supposed to stay and moved me to a nearby alternative (which is fine) but the batteries on the smoke alarms were low so they beeped all night making it unbearable to go to sleep

The man running the place was rude. Lost his temper when asked questions. Wasn’t going to give me a key until I said I require a key. Had to wait half an hour whilst being told to ‘sit’ for him to finish cleaning the room. Rude to my friends (who were told to wait outside). Asked me why I’ve had the key for so long and complained when I was out of the property with the key.

The location of the property is close to the train station which is helpful.

Didn’t have keys for rooms or the property so if you went out your room was left unlocked, you’d then have to hope the host was actually awake to let you back into the property. It says a private bathroom and a bath neither of which was true. Property was also very noisy and you can hear a lot of noise from within the property and outside.

In booking website it was mentioned 2 adults one 2 bedroom and i clicked that but when i have booked the roomad reserved the room in my booking was mentioned 1 adult while it was for 2 adult 1 double bedroom so abit confusion but in total I am very pleased with this place

Trying to check in, stated I didn’t have a booking and had to show them the reference before they realised the mistake. Put me in a different room to the one I booked. Cannot lock the room door when leaving and no key to allow access to the site. Staff speaking extremely loudly in the wallway at midnight. No towels or soap available

This place has potential but is run horribly. The room I had did not have a key, so was just unlocked at all times. Apparently that is their policy, to not provide guests with keys for their rooms. Anyone could walk into a room while you are out. Maybe that’s why the bathroom was such a mess if people could just let themselves in to use it. Or maybe it just wasn’t cleaned properly. Check in process was disorganised too. This place is not of an acceptable standard at the moment.

Undeniably very weird. Was greeted by a host/ porter who seemed completely spaced out, eyes on stalks. He then proceeded to make a phonecall and spend the next 8-10 minutes loitering in my bathroom ‘checking something’ - could this not have been done before my 6pm arrival? They don’t issue keys because ‘people lose them’, so my room and valuables remained unlocked. Fine as a halfway house or sheltered accommodation perhaps, but it is not suitable for business trips or leisure. No keys? I realised something was amiss the second I arrived and re-checked the reviews. A few red flags there that I’d missed. I also noticed the replies to anything critical of the place were quite hostile - “you only leave bad reviews”, “you’re lying” etc. Well, I stay in dozens of places a year have rarely left a review anything other than positive. And I’m certainly not lying. Never stayed in a place where the porter loiters in your bathroom and no keys are issued.
