The room was a bit on the warm side. Probably because it was on the upper floor. I had the window open to try to cool it but the seagulls made we well aware daylight was approaching the following morning!

The hotel was very nicely decorated with a modern and historical feel. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. It was very close to the train station but I didn't hear any trains so was nice and quiet. The booked breakfast was good too.

Lovely comfortable room and bathroom, not disturbed by the nearby railway. Loved all the traditional railway touches around the pub and hotel, but not over the top. Great Sunday night meal too.

Whilst the bathroom was lovely and warm due to the heated towel rail the bedroom radiator was not working. Bottled water in the room would have been appreciated and a larger selection on the breakfast menu.

The shower in our room number 14 was very dangerous the temperature could not be set at a safe level . Breakfast was good but a bit over priced and a service charge was added without our consent.

It might be that we are not used to a wet room, but we felt that the drain wasn't working too well, the floor was quite wet after using the shower. As I said, it might have been us.

Requested a lower floor room and that wasn't an issue, and the room was massive. Bed was huge and mattress is not too soft, not too hard. Armchair, desk area, tea and coffee, hairdryer, wardrobe. Room 1 has a wet room with lots of assistance handles, shower seat, and 2 alarm pulls in bathroom. Staff were really friendly, and were happy for us to leave our bags for us inbetween checkout time and the time we were catching our train home. Loved the location - it is opposite Worthing train station (Worthing central station NOT East Worthing or West Worthing). The food was great (serve breakfast, budget lunch menu, and food menu served until 9:30pm), but you are also allowed to get a takeaway ordered to the hotel to eat in your room. There is a door that you can go in and out of, 24hrs a day, away from the hotel, which is convenient. Radiator with a digital temperature control that you can increase/decrease the temperature yourself.

THE ROOM WAS FREZZING COLD ON ARRIVAL, THE ROOMS WINDOW WAS LEFT OPEN IN EARLY MARCH. TOOK AGES TO WARM UP WHILST WE PREPED FOR OUR FUCNTION.

PERFECT FOR OUR NEEDS, VERY COMFORTABLE ROOM ONCE THE HEATING KICKING IN. VERY COMFORTABLE BED. GOOD PAID FOR PARKING NEARBY.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We loved all the signage that related to trains! The hotel was very secure and you could only get to the rooms with a key card. The room was spacious and very clean. There were good tea/coffee making facilities. Lots of mirrors and good lighting. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. We opted for a breakfast which was delicious and again very friendly staff. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we hope to visit again soon.

the place is decorated lovely. The rooms comfy with nice beds. The bar well equipped and good selection of keg pale ales. Its also right next to the train station and 15 min walk into town.
