From the moment we arrived, the doorman welcomed us, and directed us up to the reception area, the receptionists Caitlin and Gracie were so friendly and polite. The bar manager Kade was fantastic.He made us some amazing cocktails, and informed us of the history of Gotham Hotel and how it got its name. Loved the quirky style of this hotel, and the roof terrace was the cherry on the cake for us. Views were fantastic especially at night.Breakfast was fab, as was the hostess and waiters/waitress who served us. Thankyou to all the staff who made us feel very welcome, and went out of their way to accomodate us. We can' wait to come back again.

Absolutely nothing! This hotel is sublime on every level.

The BEST hotel in Manchester if not the UK, so quirky but with impeccable style. ALL the staff were beyond awesome and a pleasure to converse with them. Breakfast is amazing and the views from the restaurant are stunning, what an amazing setting! as for the rooms, simply gorgeous on every single level, the bed was sumptuous, the style is phenomenal and the room temperature for a very tall room was just perfect.

There is absolutely nothing not to like about this hotel.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional especially the staff they were all so friendly and helpful throughout the hotel. The rooms were fabulously decorated and made up. Cleaned and furnished to a very high standard and had everything you needed and more. Loved the decorated happy anniversary plate with the chocolate strawberries and fudge that was a cute touch. Breakfast was good , lots of options for continental and hot cooked breakfast , the coffees were great as were the freshly squeezed juice drinks. We cannot wait to return again. The only thing I was sad about is we forgot to go back to the hotel before we left to purchase an umbrella 🌂. Thank you to Samantha on reception for helping with our stay and upgrade.

Only complaint was that it took us a while to find reception as it wasn’t signposted and had no one to ask.

We had a lovely room but there were 2 small steps into the bed area. The room was presented lovely when we arrived with just one bedside light on. I only just saw them in time. At night in the dark my husband fell up them twice and worst fell down them once. Luckily he didn’t hurt himself but they were dangerous. Some sort of night light should be installed to warn you.

It was not made clear enough to me that the card security payment would be withdrawn and then refunded - I got the impression from the wording 'pre authorisation' that a deferred payment would be set up, rather than a literal payment of £100 per night. It would be useful to clarify this for people who aren't in a position to temporarily lose access to that amount of money!

Very comfortable sleep; quiet, clean and lovely bed. Not something you expect to get in such a central city location. Staff were really accommodating when I ran into some issues during check in. Decor had very luxurious feel and felt reasonably priced compared to other hotels that I've stayed in at this calibre. Housekeeping were excellent, the place was spotless.

Great location, comfy beds, beautiful boutique hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for you. It was our wedding anniversary so we had a nice room and chocolate treats waiting for us. We had a lovely meal and drinks in the roof terrace. All staff very attentive. Thank you

We didn’t book the breakfast although it looked great. It was a little bit expensive for us but I’m sure lots of people would be willing to indulge.

Room was classy and clean. The bathroom was beautiful. The bed linen was very fresh. All in all the room and stay was very good. The hotel is very well positioned in Manchester and the service is friendly and professional.

Not being open the windows was the deal-breaker to be honest. We loved everything else but but sure we can come back.

When we walked in i was expecting large grand receptionin open plan welcome room it was A Butler & a lift. Very small. Long boaring walk to your room.

Room was beautiful smaller then it looks on the picture. Glass of bubbles when we got out of the lift & met by staff.
