I think there was a shortage of staff and this affected our meal in the evening and breakfast the next day. However, huge apologies were made and the staff thanked us for our patience.

Wardrobe seems to have been designed primarily for MEN’s clothes- hanging space too short for WOMEN’s dresses. Didn’t much like GLASS sliding door into bathroom- it rattled when slid making it somewhat noisy. A hook on back of bedroom door would be useful for coats/ dressing gowns etc.

Room very comfortable. Alternative bedding available on request. Air-con was easily adaptable. Breakfast excellent- including good choice of gluten-free food and non-dairy milk. Staff extremely helpful and available.

Only thing I didn’t like were the soap and shampoo. Would recommend you bring ones you prefer.

There was a gluten free station in the continental breakfast room that had wonderful muffins, bread, bagels and cereals! Staff were pleasant and courteous. Beds and pillows were so comfy! Teas, coffee and hot chocolate in room were delicious. Even the tea cups and tea pot in room were such a nice touch.

I find it hard to find fault with anything. Were I to split hairs; then perhaps there were a few too many decorative glass items in our room. I found myself having to move, and later replace them; to make space for my items. One other improvement that might be considered would be a smooth pathway from the main reception/building to where our room was. An exceedingly kind and helpful staff member initially insisted on helping us with our bags, but my husband did go back to our vehicle to retrieve other wheeled luggage, later. Dragging luggage over the gravel was somewhat difficult.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The bar and breakfast staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism and customer service. We loved our spacious room, and the quality of the furnishings. The double vanity sink was great. The bed was luxurious and the bed linens beautifully soft. One can tell that the room was thoughtfully designed.

Didn’t realise the Bentley cars can be booked for a complimentary tour of Cambridge. We’d have loved that but by the time we knew there was no availability during our stay. The bar area was a bit soulless.

Central location close to centre of Cambridge. Comfortable spacious well-appointed room, even though we only booked the standard room. Tasty well-cooked breakfast with plenty of choice on the menu.

Instant coffee in the bedroom. Kitchen service in the restaurant incredibly slow. Lukewarm when it arrived. Front door open in the evening made the bar area very cold so didn't stay.

Location excellent. Bedroom decor lovely. Very comfortable bed. Very good breakfast selection. Very clean. Vehicle chargers on site.

Fantastic location, right across Parker's Piece. Easy walk into centre of town to all the shopping, the river and the colleges. Room was nice and spacious with climate control (it was a very warm weekend). Very comfortable beds. Staff were very helpful, friendly and smiling. Food in the Terrace restaurant was exceptional. Cocktails were very good.
