No blinds in the bathroom which looked out over footpath, shame you couldn’t fully open blinds in main room, no bathmat and could have a floor lamp or some form of softer lighting

The Golden vanity room is on the lower floor and the view from the one window allows people to see in the room from the walkway steps so didn't have the blinds up very much. Also my partner felt uncomfortable using the bathroom as even though the windows were frosted he said when he walked up the same steps that I mentioned above he could see me in there so the option of blinds would be better. We would definitely stay at the Maritime again 100% but would book a different room on a higher level for more privacy. The no parking could be an issue if you struggle with steps as there is no where to park to off load or load car.

Loved the location, the views are brilliant. The accommodation is fabulous, modern, clean, and Love the utility room idea which is very well equipped. The bathroom is amazing. Bed was really comfortable. Me and my partner had a really lovely few days and thd accommodation was a big part of that.

I had a wonderful stay at this property. It boasts spectacular views. The property is located close to all the local shops and tourist attractions. It is also finished to a high standard and the shower is amazing! I highly recommend and look forward to staying again:)

poor car parking facilities .. another 12% in holiday costs .. loading and unloading luggage difficult due to location on street . No Wi-Fi available despite trying many, many times . The Queen Steps were a challenge with luggage and shopping .

Nothing much, really. We thought we would miss having a restaurant attached, or room service, but the truth was, there were several food options very close by (if heavy on the seafood, understandably) and it was just a few minutes walk to eat out or bring a takeaway back to our room.

The apartment was so spacious. I fell in love with the bathroom, which had room to run around in, and included a tub in addition to a separate rain shower cubicle. We also loved the view from the windows, which opened on to the harbour and marina. There were power sockets everywhere, which was awesome. And they had kindly given us two complementary bottles of wine. The rooms were exactly in keeping with the pictures they put here. Well worth the money, and definitely a place we would return to if we ever holiday in Devon again.

Dirty mugs lack of coffee pods for coffee machine, dust on work surfaces and skirting boards. Bedding on arrival was immaculate but on leaving and stripping the bed as requested omg the mattress protector and duvet were absolutely mortifying, covered in yellow stains 🤮 disgusting!! Not something I was expecting to see!! Basic hygiene avoided here come on these should be washed at every changeover...totally gross!! Left feeling totally unclean and dirty, would have second thoughts about staying here again!! Shame really we had a fab time bit think we will try somewhere cleaner next time!

Wouldn't recommend if not good on your feet as lots of uneven steep steps. Our only criticism was the lack of any kind of window covering in the bathroom, which was right next to the footpath to the rooms. We had to use towels to cover them.

Great location and view over Brixham inner harbour. Good size room and nice to have coffee machine. Nice touch of having milk ready in the fridge and little bottles of wine. Bathroom is amazing! Free standing bath, twin basins and impressive large square shower.

poor soundproofing to neighbouring rooms, bathroom windows and side window need shutters urgently. strong smell from drains on arrival. Very limited towels left for a four day stay and communal kitchen and areas uncleaned during our entire stay. kitchen rubbish overflowing causing bad odour. no toiletries provided. only two coffee pods provided for a four day stay.

Inundated (9!) emails repeating complicated/ contradicting instructions, one even giving details of owners financial transactions. Room never cleaned over the week so we had to buy disinfectant surface wipes, t towels. The toilet rolls and towels never replaced. Carpets and furniture stained. Blinds broken. Fridge useless. Advert indicated parking available with street parking passes which, once we had made our payment, we discovered was not true and nowhere to even unload car. Car parks not close by and often full
