Communal bathroom which wasn’t clean at all was worse then a truck stop,towels all over the floor and the toilet wasn’t clean

Unfortunately some of the hotel neighbours had illegal drugs( weed ) indoors

Shower was dirty. Toilet seat was broken. Latch to bathroom was broken .Shower waste was blocked. Heating was off. Windows were dirty. Looked out onto a scruffy overgrown garden.

It was not made clear that check in was in a separate building. The check in process could be approved by going online to complete before the stay The room smelt terrible - like damp and smoke

You have to walk 10 minutes away to check in at another location, which they take £100 deposit from you. When I arrived to my room I was greeted with a thick smell of cigarettes and damp smell from the bathroom. Overall not a good experience

When you book the room, nobody tells you that the reception and the rooms are in different locations. I got a taxi from the train station and with two heavy bags. When i got there, no seats, i had to stand because they were busy on phones. There is a lady particularly with long hair i remember, with the worst attitude i have ever seen for a receptionist. Not only do they tell me the room i got was 5 minutes walk away and asking me if i have google maps to get to the location. I felt so frustrated because if i knew, i would have asked the taxi man to wait for me. My check out was Saturday morning at 10am. Went to the reception to pay an extra 10pounds for 1pm checkout. That Saturday morning, i went for a walk and when i came back, my keycard was not working. I had to go back to the reception to activate it. So i ask them what was the point of paying if i still have to go back to the reception to activate the keycard if i was there on Friday night paying the 10 pounds. Then they give this so not sorry apology. If it was possible, i would rate them a 0 because of people at the reception

Had to go to a separate place, a fair walk away, to collect the keys for the room. This also wasn't clear on the website before booking-was in only one of the emails sent to me. Would be good if this was made clearer maybe before booking the tickets.

We didn't know we had to go get the keys two streets down so it was a bit of a surprise but the staff answered the phone fast so it was very easy to amend.

The room was lovely and the showers functioning. We also had a little microwave which proved very useful and a little fridge.

The room stank of cigarettes, even after opening the window for a long time. Its apparently a non smoking place, but i think the smell must be deep in the carpets/curtains etc. The heating was very noisy, banging in the pipes for a long time before i figured out that turning the heating off made it quiet on the 2nd night. The bathrooms all stank of urine, like pub toilets. The whole place needs a really good deep clean.

It wasn't all that clean, furniture has obviously been through its paces so wasn't comfortable could do with a deep clean and new furniture but for thr price can't really be surprised

The toilet and bathroom is sharing it not much privacy’s with couple. It feel scared.

Hooks in the shared bathroom were broken, no where to hang clothes. Checkout at 10 is a bit early.
