Absolutely amazing breakfast! So much to choose from and prepared perfectly. It was a wonderful start of our day. Thank you for the information on our ancestral clan—that was above and beyond.

Nothing that can be done about the only very minor issue and that is the very narrow drive up to the house after you heave the main road.

Very well presented. Loved the individuality displayed throughout.

    Nothing. It was faultless.

Full of thoughtful touches, this brilliantly quirky B&B is amazing! Such a friendly host too, and it's only a ten-minute walk from Aberdeen city centre. It also has onsite parking, is very clean, and our bedroom and bathroom were huge. And the breakfast is perfect! Served in an American diner, it includes homemade bread, smoothies and yoghurt plus a vast array of continental breakfast goodies. But, the very best but of all was a perfect (and I do mean perfect) full Scottish cooked breakfast. If you're staying in Inverness it's worth seeking out - and if you're not then it would make a great base to explore the Highlands and Cairngorm.

Limited parking but mine was a larger vehicle which was safely accommodated nearby.

Mandy is an excellent host, friendly on arrival and again at hosting breakfast, in between left to my own, which is appreciated after a long day. Room had everything required with nice additional touches.

    Nothing. I loved it

This place was awesome. Essentials all there, clean and convenient but it was everything else that made it awesome. The themed rooms, the personal touches and additions in each room, the host was awesome and so so accommodating..... And the whole place was immaculately clean and well presented. The whole 60s diner themed kitchen was a delight. Thanks Ann, loved my stay in the Hairy Coo room.

Everything.. Mandy is a wonderful host… Room was beautifully designed. Since we are vegetarian we requested her to serve us something vegetarian without eggs and she really went all out… homemade yogurts, eggless pancakes, baked beans, fruits, cakes, crackers, hummus and the list is endless. Definitely coming back.

Nothing that I can think of.

Gleninver is a unique property offering unmatched hospitality by its host Mandy. Rooms at Gleninver are themed, ours being replete with Marilyn Monroe adornments. The suite was very clean and tidy, extras provided in the room for tea and a coffee machine, a small bottle of bubbles and a beer were waiting in the fridge on our arrival. I’m always conscious when staying away from home that other people have used the bathroom and carefully inspect there. I was relieved to find that Gleninver was squeaky clean in that regard! Breakfast is offered in the down stairs “American diner” themed kitchen. Mandy has gone to great efforts to make this an authentic diner eating area. Food available for breakfast was delicious! Mandy cooked breakfast for us and also had cereals, cheeses, ham, pastries, toast, fruit, yoghurts and more. Best of all was Mandy's easy conversation with us and preparedness to go beyond our expectations for our 4 night stay. We left early to catch a train which meant we would miss out on breakfast on our last day. Instead Mandy prepared two lunch bags with sandwiches, fruit, juice, savoury eggs, cheeses, sweet biscuits and yoghurt - much more than we expected! Mandy was also able to give good tips about things to do and places to go. The property is well placed for trips to the Isle of Skye, the battle of Culloden museum/visitor centre and Loch Ness. Our stay at Gleninver was memorable, I’d definitely recommend Gleninver.

Nothing really. A table in the room would be great to be able to work at. The room was a little cluttered if you wanted to do any work with three people trying t manage space in the room. But that is a minor thing, everything was fantastic.

Breakfast was everything we needed and more. Our host was fantastic and saw to all of our needs.

It is a unique experience at Mandy’s! If you are looking for a central, cosy, peculiar place to stay, I do recommend it! The breakfast is very very good. A great range of choice and home made goods! All is well taken care of and we can feel at home, even if we aren’t… Beds and pillows are very comfortable and I cannot thank more, for the warm welcome and goodbye hug from Mandy! We came from Lisbon, Portugal and I do feel it was the perfect choice to stay the night I’m Inverness the capital of the Highlands 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Thank you, Mandy.
