It is at the top of a very steep hill which means a lovely walk down into Tobermory but quite a climb back up! We did get used to this though, and used a great and very cheap local taxi one night.

The host Claire went absolutely above and beyond - so friendly and excellent advice on daily activities, insight on ferries, wildlife etc. She had walking books and binoculars for guests to borrow. The breakfast was really excellent every single day, and she even put together something to go on our last morning when we had an early start. The room was lovely and cosy and clean and the bathroom was very spacious.

The hosts were super friendly and welcoming and their dogs were lovely! We loved the traditional breakfast, which you could choose yourself, and they even had vegan and vegetarian options. Overall a very familiar atmosphere. It was also very close to the town centre and the room was very clean and comfortable. We would totally visit again :)

I honestly can’t think of anything.

The terrace setting was quiet and a short walk from the Main Street of Tobermory. We received a warm welcome in an excellent appointment room, very fresh decor and tea and coffee making facilities, with a biscuit ( always welcome). The pre ordering of breakfast eliminates waste and is served at a time of your choice.

Nothing to do with the B & B, but if arriving without with a car straight from the ferry and with a lot of luggage, people should get a taxi, particularly if they are unfit or tired (like me) as there are 3 very steep streets to be climbed to arrive. But boy was it worth it.

Wow, Wow, Wow! It was my favourite place that I stayed during my holiday. Everything was beyond great. The hosts, Claire and her lovely partner were fantastic. Friendly, knowledgable. We peppered them with questions. They gave us pointers and helped us out. I would stayed here again in a heartbeat. The only reason I didn't score more than 10 was because it wasn' available.

Claire was a fantastic host! Very friendly, answered our multitude of questions with a smile, and very knowledgeable of the local area. My partner and I had never been to Mull before, so this was very helpful. The room we stayed in was beautiful, quiet, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. It felt really homey and comfortable. The room is not ensuite, with the guest bathroom being just across the hallway and similarly lovely (amazing mirror). For breakfast, you're given a form to fill in with your preferences/preferred time/allergens etc. and there's a lot of options. Claire makes a fantastic breakfast regardless of what you choose! I would definitely recommend staying at Glenelg if you're considering visiting Tobermory.

I would have preferred an en suite but was ok for 1 night. External Christmas lights were flashing through the night, which was a bit irritating.

The b&b is lovely and comfortable. Claire was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was yum! A lovely location in Tobermory, we were a bit out of season, but there were still plenty of places to eat.

I struggle to think of anything on our trip I would say could have been better.

Glenelg is a lovely B&B for all kinds of holidays. The friendly hosts are very happy to offer up suggestions for activities especially if you plan to go looking for the islands amazing nature. A range of foods are offered for breakfast allowing you to vary each morning while still guaranteeing a nice meal whatever you have.
