All of it - location, breakfast, room/bed, tea & cake on arrival, and the hosts. Couldn't fault any of it and had a great weekend.

The personal touch of the owners was very much appreciated. The welcome tea even at late evening was liked by all. The breakfast was also of a very good standard. Location was quite convenient, with a short stroll to the beachfront.

Rooms and the doors are bit closer to each other ,thank fully it was not busy so it was fine .

Breakfasts were exceptional, specials each morning alongside the usual cooked options and cereals,fruit and yoghurts, hosts were very warm and knowledgeable, room was fabulous an unexpected upgrade which was lovely, location perfect and very quiet.

There was nothing.

Good location, short walk to seafront. Janette and Ian were great hosts. Noticing that I’m not good with stairs offered to move us to the ground floor. Our room had all that we needed and nice and spacious. Breakfast spot on - plenty of choice and a ‘special’ each morning.

We just loved the place! You could really feel the nice and homely atmosphere surrounding you. The owners are super kind and their breakfast was the best one we had on our trip in England. There are nice places and then these hidden fantastic gems.

There wasn't anything me and my wife found that we didn't like. We arrived late and couldn't park in the car park, but there was adequate parking on the road opposite

The location of the Hotel was excellent for us within the vicinity of the Park, beach and also local pubs and restaurants. Jeanette was particularly helpful in advising where to eat and it was excellent The Breakfasts in the morning were excellent, good choice, good quality and were served fresh and hot My wife actually commented that it was the best cooked breakfast she's ever had at a Hotel!

The hosts were lovely, very friendly, and helpful. I had a last-minute change of plans, and they did everything they could to accommodate us. The breakfast was brilliant tasty they even cooked a small breakfast for my granddaughter. Could not fault it. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you very much.

Great little hotel. When we arrived we even got a bigger room for free when the owner saw we had a small child with us. So she would have some room to run around.

Could have been closer to town. About 15-20 minute walk. The town itself appeared to be a bit run down, needs some TLC. And the weather could have been better.

The breakfast was very good, the guest house was very clean, I stayed in a single room for 2 nights. The room was very nice, small double bed, tea and coffee in room, milk, water and towels changed daily. I would definitely stay here again if in Torquay. Thank you Ian & Jeanette for a great stay with you.

Property was clean and well kept the bedroom was a good size the bathroom was well proportioned, plenty of tea bags and coffee, milk etc.,. The hosts were very pleasant and attentive breakfast served in the large spacious dining room was excellent with lots of choices from cold cereal to poached salmon, porridge and full English breakfast The cost for one night including breakfast for a couple was £80 …. What a bargain!!!!! Will definitely stay again!!!

There’s nothing to dislike, parking was adequate but tight and the only other thing was that we needed to leave at 10am which was a tad early for us.

We had driven down from Glasgow for a family event and received a warm welcome, cuppa and a piece of lemon drizzle cake. Lovely hotel with really nice room and lots of nice touches such as sweets in room along with the usual teas/coffee/biscuits. The breakfast was outstanding and when we said we were in the mood for tapas they offered to book a lovely local restaurant for us which resulted in us getting a 10% discount on our meal which was a nice surprise.
