Cat the host was amazing and friendly and boy dose she love those animals we even got an amazing aurora /northern lights couldn't have asked for more

Lovely and peaceful, cat and the dalmation gang were great hosts, even up to her eyes in lambing she still made time for her guests, lodge had all you could need, super king bed was super comfy,the area is lovely so much to see and do we will definatly be back x

Absolutely amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice. The animals are so friendly and Cat couldn’t be more welcoming. We absolutely loved our stay and wish we had booked to stay longer. We will definitely be back! Such a unique experience and Cat does an amazing job. Thank you so much.

Having to leave.

The most magical trip. This visit had something for everyone. The kids didn’t want to leave and neither did I. The location is stunning, they have the friendliest animals. Hosts were amazing and the pictures do not to the facilities and accommodation justice.

Had just the best week, the host, Cat, was wonderful, so friendly and really made our stay special, answered endless questions and was just so accomdating, really made us feel welcomed and at home. The animals were amazing, you can see how loved and looked after they are which is a joy to see, and they are so friendly! the area is beautiful, and the farm and lodge was lovely, clean and cosy and the hottub was a huge hit, a wonderful week and we will definitely be back.

A wonderful trip with my son (10 yo) The lodge was spotlessly clean and fully equipped for our stay. The hot tob was a lovely addition, and the beds were so comfortable that we struggled to wake up in the mornings. My son absolutely loved all the animals, from the dogs to the horses. He really enjoyed being able to come and go into the lamb and goat pens as he pleased and got the chance to feed the lambs, which was wonderful. He especially enjoyed running around with the goats, and they're playful nature. We even got the chance to feed the horses and bigger sheep some treats. Cat was a lovely host, and it's very clear the passion she has for the animals. This is an ideal break for families with younger children or couples alike, set in lovely surroundings. We would highly recommend it, and my son is already asking when we're going back.

Nothing we loved all of it.

Everything was just perfect, Cat our host met us with her beautiful dogs, My 2 Grandchildren were super excited, Lodge was great and had everything you need to enjoy your stay, The Hot tub was amazing Xx Going into the field with the goats and sheep 🐑 Cameron and Rory got to help Cat bottle feed the sheep, Cat was amazing with the boys who are 5 and 3, explaining all about the animals and how shee came to look after them.

The lodge was well equipped with everything we would need, private space to enjoy, and even with being on a farm there was not a trace of pet hair in the lodges which was amazing. it felt like a home from home.

A lovely warm welcome from Cat and her 5 dogs, cabin had everything you need and more - a great homely feel! Hot Tub was excellent, especially after a chilly day at Ayr racecourse. We enjoyed meeting all the animals - Cat's passion shines through telling us all their rescue stories! Highlight was feeding the baby goats and the gorgeous wee kan-kan 🐑 all under the watchful eye Dali the dalmatian! We will definitely be back for a longer stay next time! Nothing, but as a visitor one would have to like being greeted by boisterous dogs with their best friend the cat! All very delightful.

The setting was absolutely beautiful in a farmyard/rustic way. The Lodge itself was warm and inviting, with 2 big comfy sofas, excellent beds and charming well equipped kitchen in a basic way.

Cat our host was lovely and so welcoming. Meeting all the animals was fabulous and the location was beautiful. We will definitely be back soon to see all our animal friends 🐏🌈🐔we got to try some delicious fresh eggs and the got tub was brilliant. Truly wonderful stay 💜

Just back from a fantastic weekend away here with family 😁, couldn't fault the stay at all , Cat is a fantastic host and does a fantastic job if running the sanctuary , the place really is like hidden paradise 💖 scenery exceptional, animals are just adorable, even caught a ferroux trout!Would definitely love to return and highly recommend 😀

Welcomed friendly relaxed and informative,lodge had everything required and quite a few extras addition host thought of everything . Great find just what we needed to relax chill in hot tub and enjoy the animals surrounding us. Fresh eggs lovely touch and took some home too which were delicious for our lunch today . I will certainly be returning , it is a working farm but that was also very interesting to be in the middle of it .

The owner Cat is lovely, my little boy loved getting to know the animals. there is a lot of space to roam and the lodge itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We enjoyed sitting out on the decking and enjoying the peaceful views and listening to the river running by and also relaxing in the hot tub. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and just chill out. We will definitely return.

We couldn't fault a thing!

We loved everything about this place, Cat is an amazing host with the most amazing farm set up to love all the animals. The lodge was very comfortable and located in the heart of the farm where you can see and interact with the beautiful animals. We have never ever seen such a hapoy and healthy bunch of animals anywhere before. Whether you adore animals or not this place is like a healing sanctuary for your mimd and body, we came away so happy and relaxed and can't wait to return later in the year. 10/10 or as my son said when asked what he rated it out of 10, "infinity"!!!!!! It is that good 😍
