The furnishings could be updated. The beds need newer mattresses.

We enjoyed being so close to the marina and wonderful seafood. The location was awesome!

The sofa in the living room needs to be replaced. Has a bit of a run down feel, cushions are dull and not of good quality. There should also be a few hooks to hang jackets. No dishwasher in the kitchen, which was inconvenient. Double bed is not exactly a double. A bit small and uncomfortable for 2 adults.

For price of stay, these are not complaints: I'd only suggest carpets could benefit from a wee shampoo (as light in colour), and entrance hall & bits of kitchen need some attention. Nonetheless, there are small issues amongst a lovely home from home. I'd still highly recommend.

Very comfortable stay with all the facilities you would need for a short break. Bedroom sizes were very generous, and overall, the flat was cozy & homely. Well situated in the centre of Oban. Host got back to one query very quickly, which was excellent & helpful. On street parking outside was fairly cheap, and we got a space right opposite door.

The lock box. It was at eye level for my 5'10* daughter who arrived the second day but I am 5'2* and struggled to align the numbers.

The location was brilliant. The apartment was well appointed and roomy. very good value for money. The instructions and information on restaurants and shops was invaluable.

Fantastic apartment which is located at the beginning of the main street in Oban providing great access to all facilities like shops, pubs, restaurants and ferry terminals. The apartment itself is fully furnished with everything that you could need for your stay.

The sofa cushions and bed mattress could be more firmer. Sofas are too low. The bed in one bedroom needs to be fixed well, it’s wobbly. The shower is very soft and feels slow, could be more quick with good flow of water. We couldn’t operate the television. A bit noisy being on main thoroughfare, but not bad.

We made our own breakfast, but the kitchen was well equipped. Location is central, central, heart of Oban. Everything is within reach. Rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom.

The downside to such a great town centre location is the early morning noise of shops receiving deliveries and the late night revelers leaving the pubs and takeaways. However, if you join them, it's not as noticeable. Please don't be put off by the entrance hall to the apartments, it is a shared space with other apartments and has no reflection on the wonderful apartment waiting upstairs.

The apartment is located on one of the main streets in Oban therefore providing great central access to all facilities like the shops, pubs, restaurants, beach and ferry terminals. The host provided us with good information before we arrived, so were able to use the long stay car park on the edge of town, which saved at least half an hour of being stuck in traffic to find we couldn't park anywhere. Access was again made easy by the host, providing us with a code for the key box and precise location of the apartment. The apartment itself was warm, welcoming and clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

Due to its location it was noisy with traffic outside both vehicles and humans. The pubs must close at 1.30 am on a Saturday night. On several occasions during the evening the floor was shaking like if a washing machine spin cycle was taking place underneath us. The smaller bedroom would benefit from curtains as well as blinds as it was not dark enough when the sun rising in the morning. We stayed one night during the mid February, totally out of tourist season so totally understandable why when the welcome pack state that you fridge/freezer and cupboards are full of things for you to use including a honesty bar and there isn't even a pint of milk for your supplied tea, it was a bit sad.

The location was ideal, could not have been more central. Spacious and warm and cosy flat, except for the kitchen. Well equipped kitchen and flat and easy to follow instructions. Free well working wifi. If used for a base to explore Oban and surrounding area it's a very good choice.

The kitchen is freezing, supplied heater doesn't work, whilst inconvenient, was not a major issue we had arranged to eat out, one suggestion especially during the winter months would be to put the heating on before guests arrive, it does take a bit of time to heat up.

The smell when you first go through the main door off the street and up the stairs was really awful. Smelled foosty and of dampness. The flat itself smelled lovely, but every so often you could smell the stairwell while in the apartment. Which was disappointing.

When you come in the entrance and up the stairs before getting in to flat is damp and does smell quite bad but on saying that there was absolutely nothing we did not like about the flat itself

The location of this apartment is so strategic and walking distance to almost everywhere. Restaurants and food stores are everywhere, including the halal restaurants. The apartment is so spacious and clean with complete facilities.

No private parking, we had to move the car in the morning to a nearby parking lot. Very low pressure in the shower. Irritating noisy toilets due to the macerating pump. 5th person sleeps on the old sofa :(
