No breakfast for the second morning!

We were pleasantly surprised to find breakfast in the room for the first morning as this was not mentioned on Booking .Com, but then we were a bit taken aback when none appeared for the second morning

the apartment is above the pub so it isn’t the quietest but it all went silent by 11.

The apartment was amazing - really spacious, well equipped, totally charming. the beds were comfortable and the staff couldn’t have been better. plus the food at the pub was superb - we had a fabulous dinner there.

    Nothing

Lovely accommodation in a very peaceful setting with easy links to the south coast and surrounding areas. We stayed in The Hayloft and everything we needed for our stay had been thought of. The room was warm, comfortable, and newly decorated.

There were 3 pillows on a double bed and no spares - should be 2 each. The room was really really cold as was the bathroom. The heaters worked, but the one in the bathroom didn’t warm the space even on overnight. It was February and about 11 degrees. Someone could have just put them on for a couple of hours before we arrived? 10am is a really very early check out time for an inn of this type? And as other reviews have said, I would have expected some sort of breakfast - not pots of make your own porridge. In a room at £50 yes. Not for nearly £100.

It was a lovely pub, the staff were great and the room was tidy and clean and nice. There were plenty of towels and spare blankets. It was handy having a kettle and there was an iron and a toaster if you wanted them.

quirky converted hay loft set in a quiet rural location a good 5 miles from Horsham town

No 4th pillow, not much choice of porridge maybe ones with fruit in for variety? think there was a toaster in the wardrobe but obviously no bread. We ate in the pub. The staff were very nice and welcoming but the menu was very limited. We would stay again.

A very quaint converted hay barn. We loved the rural views, the room was cute although it was very cold until I got the heating working ( never really worked in the shower room. Be aware it is only porridge in the room which was fine for us on this occasion . The bed was comfortable although only 3 pillows not 4.

The breakfast was not great. It was a basket with tea coffee and a pot of instant porridge, which wasn't great to be honest. We went and found a breakfast place locally instead. The heating wasn't on when we arrived and it took all night to get warm. It was freezing. It was January to be fair.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Perfect for what we needed.

A proper coffee machine would be great!

It was a lovely place to stay and sadly I booked in New Year’s Day so the pub was closed. Not their fault as everyone needs a break. I would recommend boating the pub as it looked wonderful. The room was the Stables and has rustic charm. I would stay there again.

Breakfast, is the only thing that I’ve marked down on, being attached to a country pub with restaurant, I think an English breakfast could have been offered

Bed could be better. pillows better quality but i did sloeep OK

Breakfast didn't work for me as its a basket brought to the room. Room was very clean, tv in good working order! There was a delivery of casks for the restaurant early in the morning and the drivers were so considerate! I didn't even hear them at first even though they parked right outside my room.

The service, interaction from the host, ease of access and parking and location.

Shower gel in The Loft needs refilling.

Location. Friendliness of staff. Willingness to adapt to our needs. Nothing too much trouble. Fridge/freezer in the apartment was perfect for keeping our picnic fresh for the next day. We all enjoyed our meals in the evening.

Our room was lovely, we stayed in the Stable which exceeded our expectations, the only down side was that the person staying above us was very loud and heavy footed, but that is no fault of yours.

Really lovely place and lovely staff, made us feel very welcome. Food was really nice too!

Shower head was held on with a cable tie. When the shower was on, it was impossible to control which direction the shower was sending the spray of water in. Mostly skywards!

Great location and fabulous gardens. Very quiet. Good food and reasonably priced.

Towels in room before we got there, more cutlery and fresh milk in a mini-fridge.

Alas no breakfast but we ate our own on the sort of mini balcony/top of external stairs platform. Luckily our neighbours downstairs were very quiet.

The food was a bit underwhelming. I paid £28 for a ribeye steak with pepper sauce but it was a bit bland compared to steaks I've had elsewhere

I was travellig to the Goodwood Festival of Speed so the location was a good stopover point for me - lovely, leafy spot but close to the main road routes so ideal for my trip. The room in the stable block was cosy and quirky and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and I would hope to visit again
