There's nothing that I didn't like. on the contrary, everything was perfect.

The host kindly left the keys in a lock box and sent me a very clear explanatory video in order to obtain the keys when I arrived. It was easy to understand. I liked the warm room, the breakfast, the cleanliness of the place, the bed. Extraordinary comfort in every way. Moreover, I had to go to Gatwick airport and I received a message from the host to help me getting there and he called me a taxi. In addition, I received messages the day before my arrival and the same day to find out if everything was going well. I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend Ana guest house because you will be very well received there. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet and you will be really delighted with your stay.

Nothing about the property but just be aware the walk to and from the airport is down a very secluded route. Felt a bit vulnerable walking back in the evening and got a cab in the morning. It was also tricky to find the right way out of the airport onto the right road to get to the property- admittedly I don’t have the best sense of direction though… 🤦‍♀️

Had everything I needed for an overnight stay. Got quick responses to any communications.

Ana was very helpful before our stay, providing directions from the station. The room was well equipped and fine for 1 night. A great location near to Gatwick in a neighbourhood with restaurants and pubs.

Nothing. What you pay for is what you get.

Bijou self catering stopover one station down the line from Gatwick. Big Waitrose supermarket next to the station or a gastro pub whichever suits you. Then It’s just a circa 10 mins walk with your cases to the property. For those on a budget like us it’s ideal. Much better value than staying at the airport hotels. Recommended on this basis.

The picture sent was not very clear, and thus I did not realise that the room number was actually on the pic. Hence the driver dropped me at the wrong location (107 instead of 99). Not being familiar, I did not realise the keypad was for the physical key. Then had trouble getting the key out of the door, then had trouble locking the door on entry. Then had trouble removing the key when leaving. Thankfully Anna came to my rescue, otherwise, the taxi might have left me that morning.

I was able to get some rest after a long day of travelling with delayed flight and waiting on taxi driver to pick me up at the airport.

First stay here, definitely not the last! Great location, 30 minutes walk from the airport, very clean and well equipped, very welcoming and helpful host, will highly recommend this place!

Lovely bedsit with heating and towels and hygiene products e. G. shampoo provided. Host was exceptional answered withing minutes and checking instructions were great. We arranged a taxi service with our host which was always on time and he was very helpful. Many thanks again.

The googlemap coordinates were confusing for the navigation - Google maps is getting confused in that area. Suggestion. Create a pin on google maps

I decided to walk from Gatwick following google maps, it was a dark lonely route that took me 20 mins with a suitcase. I did not feel safe so would suggest a taxi for any solo guests after dark. The accommodation was not obvious from the street, I felt lucky that someone was leaving as I arrived to help me figure out how to get in.

It was very clean and spacious, perfect for a short stay, lovely fluffy towels and a comfy bed.

Excellent location if you're looking for somewhere to stay before flying from Gatwick. Nice quiet street no hassle at all we'll definitely be using again if we fly from Gatwick 👍

The entrance was difficult to find. I arrived late so I asked in advance how to find the entrance but directions were not clear. I rang the wrong doorbell but the lady was kind enough to show me the right entrance.

A little difficult to find as there is not a notice outside and the name is not on google maps (you need to write the address). The pictures sent to my email were very useful though.

Just for us personally we would have liked a bigger bed, but there was nothing wrong with the one there and we would definitely use the Lodge again. I loved the fact that we could book the taxi and it was outside waiting to take us to the airport at 3.30 in the morning ☺️
