Loved the concept of the cells. Very well thought out. Rooms are small but fine for short stay. Comfortable beds and good facilities.

The rooms are small. And of course they are. They were cells. The idea is better than the reality! Not at all the fault of the property.

The halls were too dark. Both USB ports on lower bunk were worn out and not working.

Location was perfect for catching the Jacobite Steam Train. T Breakfast was good. The "Cell" was fun.

The bunk room felt a bit small, but I supposed that's all part of the "Garrison experience."

This place rocks the comfort and style, keeping awesome bits from its prison days. Loved having the toilet right there in the room and our own shower setup, plus they hook you up with fresh towels, a cozy bathrobe, and all the shower goodies. And being right at the end of the West Highland Way? Couldn't ask for a better spot to crash after that trek!

Just note that given these are refurbished cells the rooms are more suited to solo travellers as there isn't a lot of space!

Cell room" was tiny. We walked the West Highland Way and chose a reasonably priced hotel rather than the bunkhouses we had used all week, so we're disappointed when room was tiny. Looked much better on website Breakfast at £15 was the most expensive all week so

The lighting in the room was really bad. View from the window was a car park and the window next to the top bunk was head height for people outside, so you couldn't really leave it open.

Staff really nice. Good location. Suited its purpose. Free coffee or tea was a great addition.

Limited on site parking. Next available parking option is not far but an extra 5 for overnight.

We stayed in the cells... rooms are tiny (but as expected). Hopefully your mate doesn't snore too loud. Otherwise it was a quite nice experience. The shower is a separate room (private to your room, just no space) but you do have a toilet and sink in your cell which was very nice. Coffee/Tea are provided and beds are comfortable. Location is also a short walk into the city area.

Literal prison cell with bunk beds. TV impossible to watch as no viewable angle from either bed. En suite toilet but shower in separate rooms.

Centrally located, great breakfast and very clean. Our sons stayed in the bunks and we upgraded to the king room which was very comfortable.

The drunk men shouting and fighting, waking us at 1:37am. I realise it’s an old prison but it felt like a night in the cells.

The double room we had was nice and big enough for the night. When we checked in we didn’t have breakfast included but she said it was fine to head down in the morning for breaky but in the morning some other lady said we couldn’t eat because we didn’t include with our booking even though there was only like 4 people down there eating breakfast
