The TV was not working properly and no one knew how to fix the problem they did however ask would we like another room we had reported tv at 3pm and asked at 8pm would we like to change rooms

No hot water for bathing/showering in the evening or first thing in the morning. Public areas were quite cold. Some Sockets in bedroom didn't work to charge phone

We booked a night away as I have a newborn baby and my partner and I wanted a nice relaxing night & a good nights sleep. Our room was above the restaurant/ bar area which played music till late hours. I had to get out of bed and go down to the restaurant to turn it down. Not the best!

The hotel was beautiful and lovely location. Nicely decorated rooms.

The restaurant prices were far too expensive and it was not a good selection on the menu. The cooked breakfast in the morning was very disappointing.

VERY NOISY can hear every little movement Didn’t help there was very loud “neighbours” but that wasn’t the hotels fault! Just thin walls, could hear conversations being had, doors closing, people walking about, all very very clearly. This is the only thing to fault. However, being a light sleeper, this didn’t affect my sleep as the comfy bed & pillows made up for it!

Such a calm vibe, stunning decor, comfy bed, lovely staff. THE FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE

The spa isn’t attached to hotel and if booking through booking.com you have to pay an additional free to use the thermal suite. With this you also need to book a time slot which you can only do on arrival if not booked direct with hotel. I would recommend looking at hotel website as they had some great deals which we didn’t know about.

The restaurant and bar was good, chilled out and relax and lovely food.

The staff could’ve gave better service as I felt that’s what let it down. The bar staff in particular where ignorant and extremely slow at service even when it was quiet.

I thought that £20 per person for 1 hour isn’t the spa at an allotted time was a bit much. There was only a hot tub, steam room and a sauna. Feel there could be more value by lowering the price considering you’ve already paid to stay in the hotel or upping the usage time. If in a two night stay you have to pay the £20 per person again for day 2.

Enjoyed the peaceful location of the hotel and how relaxing the spa was from the music to the back lighting.

Being woken up at 12.30am because guest decided to smoke a joint in their room. Not hotels fault.

The dishes at breakfast were filthy. Not one or two, every single one, as if the dishwasher was broken, but they certainly had not been checked before being served. The staff seemed to be under a bit of pressure

Unlike the Waterside, there was no heated towel rail in the bath room, to dry the towels & you had to leave the door open to get it warm, afraid to say that some of the breakfasts weren’t to the standard we’ve had in past, ie the food was cold.

We liked most things & we’ve stopped at this hotel & the Waterside before.

Evening meals weren’t great- steak pie lacked seasoning, and the turkey dinner had undercooked parsnip slices. As in couldn’t cut them. Turkey was nice though.

Unfortunately the bed in our room was uncomfortable for myself and husband, found it very hard. So not a good sleep.
