We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe hidden £250 holding fee - that I still have not had back.
The property is very clean, well presented and the facilities are 10/10. The location is easy to find and there are two car parks within a very short walking distance that are well priced. The only concern is that Booking.com doesn't make it clear that you will have to pay a £250 holding deposit when collecting the keys - in addition to the payment made on Booking.com. The host was very clear about everything and very helpful as far as parking etc. I will be using this facility whenever I am in Cheltenham or Gloucester again.

United KingdomMinor detail it was hot when we arrived but we opened the balcony and it was fine after an hour. Skylight in the bedroom meant it was bright pretty early but we get up early so it wasn’t a problem. Maybe put a blind on the skylights as some people want to lie in.
Lovely lady Mari on the hotel desk was friendly, cheerful and very helpful on check in. Apartment was spacious and clean. Kitchen equipped for cooking simple meals like a cooked breakfast. Tv in lounge and bedroom. Plenty of tea and coffee. Ice in freezer. Balcony with a table and chairs. Good shower. Plenty of towels and toilet roll and shower gel etc. Fantastic location right in the city. Parking not free but right behind the apartments. We used the NCP car park which was £9.95 if you use the app to book.

United StatesLots of vagrants in the area and the security door didn’t lock in the lobby. WiFi didn’t work until the morning we checked out. Apparently regular problem. Washing machine had the water turned off when we arrived. Up 4 times in the night messing with the washing machine hoping to have dry clothes by morning. Required 3 trips up and down the 5 sets of stairs going to the reception trying to try and resolve the issues after check in that night. Had to be out to the parking lot to pay by 7am. Should have parked in the other lot that was 3x the price after all. Once they get the issues worked out I would probably stay again.
Beautiful big new room. Great location in the middle of the pedestrian only area.

United Kingdomthe service is dramatic i was treated very badly in this apartment and i travel every week and i have never had such a situation. i was thrown out of the apartment 3 nights earlier. my things were stolen during my stay. i was not given a refund of my deposit or money for 3 nights that i did not spend there. as it turned out my friend had the same situation there. i suppose that is how they make money. i had 10 min to pack my things when the service was standing behind me. i do not recommend this apartment. there are many more nice places in gloucester. do not eat there if you want to spend your trip peacefully. after staying in this apartment i am minus 500f
