The location to Harrogate centre is perfect. The premises are absolutely outstanding. The rooms are classy and individual. Spotlessly clean and really large and comfortable. The hosts go to so much trouble to ensure your stay is perfect, every little detail is covered and really appreciated. This is our second stay to visit the great Yorkshire show and I would not stay anywhere else on future visits. Outstanding.

Beautiful guesthouse with superb hosts. The little touches made a difference, being able to replenish the tea, coffee, milk and water from the guests kitchen and then finding homemade lemon drizzle beautifully packaged up for the guests. The attention to detail in all aspects made it different. Lovely friendly hosts.

The decor, style, friendliness of the hosts was excellent. Check in and check out process was simple and everything you needed was provided for. Great location for the Harrogate Convention Centre and to explore the rest of the town. Oh, and the mattresses were so comfortable. Best night's sleep for ages!

A beautiful guest house, rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard. I loved the little extras - a cloth to remove makeup, water left by my bedside when I returned from the wedding I had attended. There is a little honesty bar on the landing so if you need anything, or just a glass of wine, its available. Breakfast was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. The hosts were friendly and knowledgeable they were able to direct me to a local pub where I could eat on my own without feeling out of place. I would highly recommend 19 Franklin Mount for anyone staying in Harrogate looking for something smaller and more special than a large chain type hotel.

In my view, the mattress was a tad too soft, but my partner liked it, so it depends on your personal preferences. I also couldn't find a hairdryer, but after breakfast, my hair was already dry, so it wasn't a biggie, and I could probably have gotten a hairdryer off the host had I asked.

This guesthouse is in a posh, quiet residential area of Victorian terraces in Harrogate, situated on a little hill just a 10 minute walk from the city centre. We stayed in room #5 on the top floor - a spacious, very clean, lovingly and tastefully furnished big room with a lovely ensuite bathroom, fridge, tele, armchairs, and a super king sized double bed. Everything worked very well, from the check-in to booking breakfast. The house is very quiet (there are only 5 rooms in total), the owners super friendly and helpful, breakfast is delicious and gives plenty of choice from an extensive menu. Although room #5 is on the top floor, there are no eves, so no awkward areas at all. Three big windows enable you to ventilate the room well. And we loved the little sweet touches: two glass bottles of water and a bottle of milk were already in the fridge when we got there, plus some crisps, boiled sweets, and choccie bars. There's a little galley kitchen on the landing where you can help yourself to more milk and water or clean crockery - very thoughtful! And great not to have plastic cups or bottles. I also liked that they had a QR code linking to their website, which also contained tips relating to Harrogate. Oh, and car parking is easy in that street; on weekends, no parking permit is needed, and during the week, the hosts provide one for you. This is a super place!
