In a quiet location so a car is essential. Parking right outside. Clean and comfortable.

Not a dislike on its own, but a healthier breakfast choice would be nice. Some ham, cheese would be better than sugary sweets and cereals. 2 pieces of fruit would have been really nice too There was no shower gel, but 3 shampoos and 3 conditioner bottles :-) .

beautiful location, extremely peaceful, no noise. Good facilities, good shower, comfortable bed. Good parking, easy to find on Google maps. Generous sweets basket on arrival. Great choice of teas and coffees, for all tastes! Good taste in decorating the room, I would consider staying there for a week.

Nothing really - it was ‘bijou’ but good value for money. The sloped roof minimised movement a bit so ideal for just a night stop.

Clean with beautiful views in a nice area. Plentiful breakfast & shower accessories. Comfortable bed. Just ideal as a stopover for a night. I’d stay again if I’m the area.

I loved how peaceful the foxglove retreat was and you had a great view, owner was kind and friendly, definitely worth the money. Would recommend to any travelers

Perfect for our needs, better than a hotel. Being able to sort breakfast ourselves met our needs

It got a little cold and we were unable to adjust the heating. But we just used the throws in the room so not a major issue.

The attention to detail, the added extras. Fresh milk instead of that awful UHT you usually find in a room. Lots of extra bedding for the colder weather. It was perfect!

Nothing really. We found it a bit tricky reversing out of the parking in the dark but just took our time and managed in the end.

Location, comfort, facilities and cleanliness were all perfect. This was exactly what we needed and where we needed it. If we come to this area again, we shall definitely book Foxglove Retreat. Thank you for all the little extras like biscuits and toiletries.

I booked this apartment as a working get-away. I stayed in the entire time I was there and found things to be just perfect! This stay was truly lovely. It was quiet and private. The room was very well equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a mini-fridge, kitchen utensils, and a sweet basket of breakfast and treat items. The internet was excellent and parking was easy.

I loved how peaceful it was. There was everything you would want inside the place. Also the garage under the place was an amazing place to do a work out in the morning so that was a bonus

Was easy access very clean, quiet, well equipped, great value for money with lovely views.

The property is delightful with a very responsive host - she even brought me milk for the morning. Really well stocked and thought through from every aspect. Delightful peaceful setting and I had a really good night's work and rest - Wifi excellent. Certainly stay again when working in the area - ticks all boxes and more.

Lovely property, comfy bed which is a must for us, everything was lovely & clean, breakfast bits are a bonus & so were toiletries if you have forgotten your own, plus fridge with milk & orange juice.

An ideal location for my overnight stay whilst cycle touring. The room was perfect for my needs and very comfortable. The location was quiet. Having the breakfast basket was a real treat. Great value for money.
