Window could have done with a voile or net , to allow you to look out without people able to look in as our apartment was overlooking front pavement , so had to have blind down or up and open to pavement

There was no non slip mat to use in shower so sadly I couldn’t risk having one as when wet the floor was too slippery.

It was central and luckily we parked very close. It had everything we could possibly need and more

The fitted venetian blinds don't fit the windows and let in too much light waking us up at 5am . Black out blinds are needed. Also, having a double bed up against the wall made it difficult to get in and out of bed

The location of the apartment was perfect for the shopping centre, Plymouth hoe and the barbican area. The apartment was fitted out to a high standard .

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this property. It’s a fantastic property and offers so much for the money.

Absolutely amazing location in the centre of Plymouth easy to get to Plymouth as we stay there for Plymouth summer sessions rooms are great size have absolutely everything you need great facilities super comfy bed staff were absolutely fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. Everything you need on your doorstep I would highly recommend staying here. I would definitely book again.

This particular stay we were on the top floor so the seagulls got quite noisy in the morning. But obviously that can’t really be helped by the Fox House themselves, just something I noticed

It’s in a great location and I thought it was great value for money too. Our room had everything we needed and was modern and light and we had a very comfortable stay the both times we have stayed here.

For a longer stay, the apartment would have been ideal - however, we were expecting a slightly more ‘plush’ sleeping experience in terms of comfort, as we were only staying overnight. The apartment had a lovely bathroom, and the kitchen was equipped with all you’d need (though we didn’t require this). But the bed was pushed against the wall and the mattress was uncomfortable and I found I rolled into the centre of the bed as it wasn’t well sprung. It was also very, very warm in the room despite being a cold day for mid June - though a fan was provided. If we were to book to stay in Plymouth again for the same purpose and pay the same price we would choose a boutique hotel room for a more luxurious stay; though the room would be ideal for anyone looking for a few nights self-catering in Plymouth.

The location of the property is ideal for accessing Plymouth City centre. We were attending Plymouth Summer Sessions on the hoe, and it was within easy walking distance of the apartment and local pubs were nearby. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

More attention to detail is needed when cleaning. The floor was in need of a good clean, and the walls need wiping down as lots of marks.

Just the bunk bed. Not suitable for a young child (late teen didn't feel safe either) and not suitable for adult use.

Spotlessly clean, extremely well located and good facilities. Easy access to everywhere we needed and the train station. Great value!

The property is very central and this came with noise from the pub close by and noisy residents knocking on their door in the early hours, followed shortly by the seagull chorus starting at daylight.

The first thing I noticed was that all areas of the property were very clean and modern.

No ventilation, had to open windows in the middle of the night to get some fresh air. I checked out early dropping a key card in the box. As they got a £100 deposit, I assumed it will be back automatically but it’s not the case. Had to call twice, write 2 emails (which they just ignored) and finally they messaged me just after complaining to Booking.com Got my deposit back but don’t think will be staying there in the future.

The main double bed is up a steep ladder. There was room to put the main double bed downstairs which would have been more practical.

Close to the Barbican and long reception hours, luggage storage, kitchen and friendly helpful staff. Good value.
