Was amazing, so clean, would highly recommend this stay, the owner was so friendly and warming such a lovely lady we will definitely be going back. The local pub is fantastic lovely food and the views are outstanding.

The only small niggle was that there wasn’t a lockable door into the top floor area which was a little unnerving with our daughter sleeping in the tv room, but we just kept the doors open and the accommodation is well managed and a small number of guests.

Spectacular views and the rooms are beautifully done. Very clean and spacious.

Perfect location for attending a wedding at Danby castle, the accommodation itself was beautifully done and spotlessly clean!

We had a delightful stay in this tranquil village of Danby in the master bedroom of the property which is spacious, comfortable and well furnished. The adjacent living room is cosy and it was very handy to have a small fridge and coffee machine. The bathroom is large and luxurious in keeping with the bedroom. Being on the top floor, the master bedroom, landing, bathroom and living room is like having your own self contained flat just without a kitchen. Charlotte is very friendly, down to earth and helpful. We look forward to returning for another lovely stay in the future.

Very homely, we had the pleasure of a full floor to our selfs right at the top amazing views and catered to our needs on another level. Stunning home, gardens where lovely, 2 beautiful friendly dogs and the owners where amazing and was willing to do more than expected. And out side the front door runs a little water fall and when you open the windows you can hear it running and it certainly helps with relaxing for sleep 😴 we will most certainly be booking again and thank the owners for being amazing it was a pleasure to meet you both x

A breakfast option would have been nice, though the good tea and coffee facilities, cups/glasses and small fridge meant we coped well enough!

Lovely big, swish, tranquil second-floor bedroom under the eaves with excellent big bed and tremendous moorland views. Very attractive large adjoining bathroom. The attic flat also includes a small sitting room with TV and a pair of convertible armchairs. For a modest extra fee these can be made up as extra beds if your group is 3 or 4 rather than 2 people. Your group will always have sole use of the whole storey.

Beautiful house and well located for attending a wedding at Danby Castle. We had the whole top floor to ourselves and Charlotte was a great host. The room was beautifully presented and had a gorgeous bathroom and living space (all with a lovely view). It was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed.and the bed was so comfy! There is a nice pub and a local shop just around the corner too. Plenty to do within a short drive and not far from Whitby.

Loved that we had the whole of the upstairs area to ourselves. Nice and warm, Also nice to have a seperate area to watch tv in, Bathroom was beautiful, the whole area was spotless. Good advice on where to get an evening meal.

Be aware that the apartment is at the top of two flights of stairs. You need to be fit and active!

This is a superb location at the centre of the village and within two minutes of the railway station. The views are stunning. The owner lives on site and is very welcoming.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Charlotte was a warm and welcoming host with great tips to get the most of our stay in the village. The bedroom and bathroom were large and beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The location was great. Quiet village right at the moors but only 13 miles to Whitby.

Outstanding from point of booking!! Kindly went above and beyond to help arrange early arrival to accommodate our plans!! Allowed late check out as room was vacant the day after at no extra cost, able to leave whenever we were ready!! The whole top floor of the guest house was ours, and we had a separate sitting room! Decor and facilities were modern but romantic and cosy! View was stunning, bed and pillows absolutely dreamy. Kind and warm welcome, could not have been better!! Charlotte offered us a lift to the venue, Edison is a bonus for dog lovers like us! Highly recommended and would stay longer next time, enough room to bring the kids, sitting room has sofa beds and are minimal extra cost to turn a 2 person to a 4 person space!! Village is a place of beauty, like stepping back in time!! Thank you, we loved our stay and wish it was for longer!!❤️
