It should have been made clear that there was no on site parking at point of booking. We didn't find out until we'd already paid a non refundable booking fee.

The room was not clean when we got there the bed was not made the carpert was dirty towels was left on floor from last guest had to phone bee the house keeper to come and clean it up when we got there

Could do with someone there to meet and greet. Breakfast would be ideal. No ironing board and not enough space for rubbish.

It was a little small and there wasn’t much room to put your suitcases.

It was clean and well-appointed, with good facilities, even a small fridge, which was very handy & an ironing board. The manager was really friendly and helpful.

Someone being on site as it was daunting no one being there. If you had an issue you had to call the cleaner who would come out. Also there could have been a sign up outside displaying the guest house name.

Great location, Rooms were spotless, a little dated with woodchip on the walls, and choice of bed covers, the property is managed by the cleaner called Bee who was lovely when I called and helpful.

No staff onsite to greet you. I had to ask the housekeeper to top up tea/coffee etc on day 2 as not enough put in the room for a 2 day stay. The housekeeper was only onsite as she was dealing with a customer who had a complaint. If it wasn't for him telling me she was coming soon I wouldn't have known and would have had to buy my own. No hot water coming out in the sink even though we put the immersion on. The hallway light can only be put on from downstairs and being on the top floor we had to leave it on all night. The main front door wouldn't always close shut, not sure if it was because the screws were hanging out from the inside. No name at the front advertising the name of the guest house.

TV stopped working on second day, possibly due to reception issue. TV also a little small but great for what we wanted. If you spend more time in room and watch a lot of TV when away you may want to check elsewhere. Internet not the best

Location brilliant. Just off front but away from traffic and pubs. Lovely and quiet. Rooms clean and tidy and great if you are out most of your visit. Great for what we wanted. Also couldn’t beat the price and value for money.

Room smelt of smoke Bedding felt damp Cushions were grubby, bed headboard needs fixing..and as soon as you turn shower on ...shower head falls off.. Don't normally moan but feel simple things need changing ..

Lovely Guest House in a great location, close to the beach and a short stroll from the Town centre and other attractions such as the Grand Pier. Quiet area, so no worries about noise. Pubs and Restaurants are close by too, as is the beautiful, endless promenade. Nice, comfortable, large, airy, en suite room, with comfy bed and pillows. Nice bathroom with very good shower. I really enjoyed my 2 night stay here, and would definitely like to return. I've no hesitation in endorsing Florence Guest House. Highly recommended.
