We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomSituated within walking distance of Sutton centre, if you are working away (which I was) this was a great place to stay. My ground floor room was basic but a good size and very clean. A very comfy double bed and a quiet neighbourhood meant that I had a very sound night's sleep. Shared kitchen facilities were good and I was able to park my van on the forecourt at the front. The price paid was very reasonable for the accommodation offered.

United KingdomSomebody was outside the front door who let me in, never saw him again. What l would have liked to have established was in the kitchen there were many fridges and freezers. What contents was l allowed to use as some of the items like milk/bread were in short supply and up to their sell-by date? I was very nervous about using food ie eggs/beacon not knowing how long they had been in use.
The room was of a good size with a comfy bed. I particularly liked the walk-in shower, only let down by the very loose toilet seat. Car parking was straightforward.

United KingdomStaying upstairs walk up 2 levels was not aware no lift as we came from the airport our luggage had to stay in car.... There is a train line running at bk of house but no disturbance to be honest.
Cooking my own breakfast...rooms are very clean, worth an overnight stay. Ensuite rooms lovely too.

United KingdomPlease see notes in the above box and take the criticism seriously . It is constructive so please ensure that mistakes re guests and room numbers do not occur again . Nobody checked my ID on arrival either. Please also have clear instructions displayed on how to use the cooker and gas ignition .
The location and facilities were excellent.The staff member I met was extremely helpful and polite. However, I did have some Fawlty Towers experiences from when I arrived. I was let in via intercom and told to take the key out of a box then told a different box and told it was key for room 16 so I struggled up to the top floor with my case , opened room 16 to discover an open lap top and a man's clothes on the bed! No one was in the room at the time thankfully for me ! I then dragged my case back down the stairs and pressed the entry phone again to be told to access again a different box and that I had room 6 on ground floor. This was unacceptable and a breach of security for the guest in room 16 who would not have been aware of this. The only other problem was the gas on the cooker would not stay alight and there were no instructions so I had to cook eggs and bacon in microwave. Other guests remarked on this so it is not just me. !! I would still consider this property again when staying in the area.

United KingdomThe message on the bell says to ring a number, but then they tell me to just ring the bell. It's not a big deal, but something to be sorted. Batteries in the TV remote needed changing. The main lights in the room are very bright, lights above the bed didn't work. There wasn't anything at all to put me off staying again. Easy fixes.
If you're there for a few nights, it has a fully equipped kitchen. I struggle to sleep if a room is too warm(it wasnt) and they had a fan.
