Tbh I had a single room which was lovely as I booked but I did find the mattress wasn’t as comfortable. But that’s me I did manage to sleep . It’s a lovely place to stay and I will be returning .

I’ve stayed before it’s in perfect location to my parents as they live in the village .

    Nothing.

A little gem. The facilities are very clean, comfortable and more than I expected for what I paid. So much choice at breakfast, again, more than expected. 10/10.

Parking is a bit tight for larger cars.

The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. the self service breakfast suited us and there was a good choice of food. Ian and Wayne were very helpful.

The parking spaces. Our big 4x4 was very awkward to park. The size of the entrance is very narrow as well.

The size of the room and the fact that the staff went above and beyond. The quietness and the location.

There was nothing, it was perfect for us.

The room was comfortable, clean with modern facilities. Iain was a perfect host, keeping us informed of some power issues due to an unexpected summer storm, and helping us pick somewhere for Sunday lunch. Very secure with onsite gated access parking. Breakfast was self service which as we wanted to eat later suited us perfectly. Big selection of cereals, fruit, pastries etc. with cooking facilities if you wanted to be more adventurous. Spacious dining kitchen area for breakfast, with a guest fridge and storage for your own food if you needed it. Perfect for our short break, and very relaxed.

They didn't leave any toilet paper in our toiletry basket and we just had a little bit of one roll left in the bathroom. As my parents were in the room next to mine I grabbed one from them but it would have been tricky if it finished late at night.

I stayed at Fir Tree Barn with my partner and parents. Both rooms were clean and tidy, the beds were comfortable and the the breakfast exceeded our expectations. It's self catering but there was a lot of food available and variety, good for different tastes and/or food restrictions. My room had a balcony and it was very pleasant to be outside relaxing in the end of the day. The house is located on a incredibly quiet place and it's perfect to switch off - but at the same time is very close to a small village with take aways, supermarket and pubs (5 minutes) and it's 15 minutes away from a bigger town.

Absolutely nothing I didn't like, everything was amazing. Wish I could have afforded to stay longer.

Fabulous place to stay, nice and quiet location. The rooms and facilities are spotless, well kept and stylish. The service from Iain and his team is excellent. The kitchen has everything I needed to make meals while I stayed, and breakfast is self serve buffet which has a fantastic spread of food to choose from. Laundry room for customer use is great (bring a stash of £1 and 20p coins if you want to make use of this). Would absolutely recommend to others.

I liked it all. But I would say it's mostly suitable for people travelling with a car.

I loved the clean, convenient, and comprehensive facilities, I loved the comfort of the room and the patio, and I loved the field out the back. The staff were lovely, professional, and friendly. And the location was surprisingly adorable - Pollington is a chilled-out hidden gem, and Snaith down the road was a lovely collection of friendly pubs and a surprisingly interesting, spooky old gaol house.

It was all absolutely perfect. Couldn't have been happier.

Ian welcomed warmly me on arrival and opened the gate so I could park in the private courtyard. The room was comfy and the view onto the fields - cattle, circling owls, foxes, sparrowhawks - was a real bonus. Lovely self-service brekkie. A perfect stay.
