Mouldy AC units, they had a weird smell, were noisy and didn’t work. Staff helped us move room but the next room wasn’t much better. Avoid in the heat of summer.

Breakfast was okay, one member of staff, Penny, was very kind and welcoming, others not so much.

I didn’t expect extra bed provided for 4 adults in a room same size as standard room is a good idea.

    It’s clean and looked nice.

Bed was pushed against wall could be an issue. Breakfast was chaotic, queues ran out of crockery Cutlery and number of food items. Tables weren’t cleared quickly so limited places to sit

5th floor room was extremely hot. Unable to turn Aircon or open window.. I did ask for a portable fan which was provided. Without it would be too hot to sleep.

The location was perfect. Next to NCP carpark and opposite Brewery Quarter.

The location was good, close to the playpark for kids. Reception were helpful. Sofa bed and room was ready for us on arrival.

Noisy doors slamming late at night. Breakfast, Sunday morning very busy, food constantly running out, no cups etc. more staff required. Plus people were eating at tables then filling bags to take out, no wonder the food was running out. Some staff were rude quite abrupt when questions were asked.

Location was good for the restaurants and town but very noisy, loud music playing, loud voices late at night.

There weren't enough tables for everyone at breakfast. The breakfast room was noisy with kids running around (not the hotel's fault.)

The location was excellent, there is a secure car park next door and the hotel is very close to many bars and restaurants. It was a 5 min walk to the show we had booked at The Everyman Theatre.

The beds were extremely uncomfortable! Me and my partner were up most of the night as the room was hot the air con was no cooling the room down at all as it felt it was just blowing our normal air. Also the beds gave me sick a bad back in the morning. My children slept on a sofa bed and they found that so springy they as well struggled to sleep. We all didn’t sleep well at all

The location of the hotel was brilliant it was walkable from all the locations we planned to visit. Was clean and had no problems with the staff etc

Sofa bed wasn’t made up and had to await someone making it for my daughter at ten at night when we returned to room and realised it had no bedding! Breakfast- items ran out and staff not replenishing very quickly so didn’t have any bacon! Table dirty and not wiped down!

Location is great, room clean and comfortable for three of us

Although breakfast RANGE was good. *Toast and jams, cakes, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, juices, water, coffee and tea etc. *The cooked range was basic - bacon, sausages, scrambled egg, baked beans and hash browns. *It would have been nice perhaps, to have egg choices, fried, boiled, scrambled, along with mushrooms, tomatoes etc. Also perhaps a small range of cold meats and cheeses. *Paying for the stay on arrival and not at the end which is the usual. Otherwise, happy.

*Location next to car park with 25% off parking if ticket stamped at hotel reception on check out. *Situated opposite Brewery Quarter for eateries, music, shops etc. *Close proximity for walking to a lot of historical buildings and parks. *Reception staff very helpful with queries and enquiries.

Breakfast was included in the rate, but rather limited range. It was fine, but nothing particularly special. Vegetarian and vegan sausages were available but cooked to order and would take up to twenty minutes so I went without. Pool and gym are across the road in a separate building.

Very comfortable bed, slept well. Staff were very helpful, especially at breakfast- made sure my baby and I were seated comfortably 4th floor room had a nice view of the hills. Room felt clean and well maintained. Very busy over a Bank Holiday weekend, but dealt with us efficiently and the breakfast area didn't have queues even at 10am

The bathroom was extremely dated and cramped. The breakfast was great but no where near enough seating. And the walls were paper thin, so could here everything going on in the hallways and rooms next door.

Having to pay for the car park even though it was discounted. The fact my request for a certain type of room was not acknowledged and I had to ask to be moved. The fact that one bed was pushed against a wall when there was plenty of room to move away. The continental breakfast was lacking in choice - better selection of pastries etc would be acceptable.

On arrival we were not allocated the room I had requested, but this was swiftly rectified. Room and facilities adequate for an over night stay. Breakfast was adequate. Close proximity to car park and centre. Comfortable bed.

Hotel was extremely busy on my final night (Saturday) and unfortunately this meant it was pretty noisy on my floor (1st) until late into the night. I was disappointed that a large group had been allowed to take over the bar area for some kind of club event, which precluded any other paying guests making use of the space. As a woman travelling alone, I would also have felt safer if the hotel stopped people without key cards from accessing the floors containing the accommodation.

Easy check-in process. Decent breakfast included. Good sized room, which was clean and everything worked. Praise to the weekend breakfast staff, who kept things running smoothly despite it being very busy.
