Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All communications with Cleveland Residences were promptly answered. We were pleasantly surprised with everything! Top rate! Clean and bright, all feeling new and cared for. It was easy to find, near a huge range of shops and eateries plus a large supermarket. That allowed us to self cater for quite a few meals! Russell Square on the Picadilly line is great and is 2 minutes walk. Also close to StPancras international AND the British Library and kings cross..10 minutes away.

The position is good. It's easy to metro and supermarket especially there is a Chinese supermarket. The house is clean. There is a small kitchen and I like to cook by myself, eat outside is expensive in London.

CanadaThe comforter on the bed was not wide enough. It barely covered 2 inches over the edge and as such at times I was left partially uncovered. I needed to be ver careful was washing my face to not bump into the glass shelf. Which I did a couple of times.

RomaniaWay better than a hotel. The reception was super friendly and helping. The location is quit and really well connected to public transport so you can get to any attraction in max 30 minutes. We hair dryier broke while using it and immediately. The room was well equiped. 11/10

United KingdomThe host (John) was extremely helpful and speed to action always. The property was well looked after and very clean and neat. So close to the underground station as well as several bus routes to go straight into west end. Not to mention it is an easy walk to the city/Holborn. Cannot fault it. We, unfortunately, stayed in room right below some really unreasonable and rude guest, making loud noise throughout the whole evening until close to 5am. Was very disturbing and a sleepless night. We made the property aware of the situation and they swung into action immediately, both the host and customer services. They took necessary actions and moved us to a different room with no one staying above us and a much bigger apartment. We had a really good peaceful stay for the 2nd night. This will be my first choice of stay when I need to be on this side of the town when visiting.

RomaniaDue to some construction works on my last day, I had no water for a while (this was very early in the morning though, at 5am). Constructions works seemed to last only for that day though, this was likely a one-off.
The apartment was very well equipped, had great wifi and was super clean. I reached out to the host beforehand to mention that I'm a light sleeper and they were able to provide a court-facing apartment instead of a street facing one which I appreciated a lot! The window was equipped with super good blinds and the room could get pitch dark which was even better for uninterrupted sleep.

John is a very nice guy who gave us the key when we arrived and gave us all the support we needed. Very clean room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The building has an elevator. The metro, Russell square station, is 2 minutes from the property. From the airport there is a direct Piccadilly line and it takes 1 hour to reach the location. The area is safe and with many parks where you can walk, restaurants where you can eat and drink. British Museum is 5 minutes' walk away, and Trafalgar Square is 20-25 minutes away. We recommend this accommodation if you want to explore London on foot.
