The care we were shown on our holiday was amazing. The facilities were warm and welcoming. A very relaxing atmosphere. My family felt really looked after through the kind efforts made. Definitely would go back there

The room was a little bit dated but very clean and the decor throughout the communal areas is quite individual and what I would say quirky but this makes it a memorable B&B.

I booked the single room as I was travelling alone and the room had everything I expected and was of a high standard of cleanliness. It is up a steep staircase, but I was aware of that from previous reviews and it wasn't that much of an issue as there is a handrail. The view from the room was also better than expected as I could clearly see the sea over the rooftops. It was very quiet at night, being in a road off of the sea front and I slept very well. I would stay here again.

Room fittings dated but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was good, varied menu and plentiful portions. Not near stations but excellent central location i.e. quiet but convenient.

WiFi could be stronger. I could barely open an email at points it was that slow but that is just a small detail.

Great location, lovely house, great room but it wasn’t cheap (supply Vs demand I guess) but while the breakfast was good, but as a takeaway bag wasn’t what I’d hoped for, restaurants are serving hot food so why not B&Bs? I also enjoy a coffee with breakfast and only instant sachets were provided.

Breakfast in the bedroom. Barely any contact with the owners. Two steep flights of stairs to get to room.

Room was very hot and no access to a fan. Toilet in Bathroom very tight to bath. Breakfast was very disappointing. Especially bacon and egg ? egg was scrambled and cold.

There was nothing I did not like. But parking is limited and the upper room No 7 needed to have the window open all the time as the air was still.

The breakfast choice and delivery was effective. The opportunity to take a roll for lunch was really a great idea.

Some folk with physical issues may find steps to the third floor quite challenging ,street parking could be an issue . otherwise everything else was very pleasant .

Had room right at the top so had to navigate two narrow steep staircases with bags. Breakfast options nice but you can’t choose what you like freely as things are grouped and you have to pick from grouped items. Left my phone charger in room, contacted for return, waiting to hear if can get it back.

Good, quiet location, nice front yard, very welcoming. Clean room, has all necessary things for a short stay.

Not the proprietors' fault at all, but all of the Covid restrictions create a very impersonal experience

Room was very large, with a sofa in addition to the bed, and a lovely bay window. Very nice breakfast left outside the door each morning. Plenty of coffee and tea in the room. Very clean room and premises. Walking distance to the train station and to the bus station, which has easy access to everywhere in west Cornwall.
