No working lift , had to climb lots of stairs, windows dirty no view , holes and stains on carpets throughout hotel stained beds. The smell of drains. Nowhere to put kettle in room. No staff in emergency. Breakfast was all ehh based or continental No meat..no one answers phone after reception closes

It needs abit of tlc carpets and lick of paint on stairs . Bathroom sink cabinet rough on one side not finished off. But for what we paid cab't expect posh.

Strange mandatory form on check in you have to fill, that's not what you expect when you are tired after the long journey. Smelly towels. Almost no cold water in the sink (something with the plumbing as cold water is present in the shower). No shelves for the toiletries in the shower. A bit shabby room in general, that's an old hotel (someone will find this interesting, though). No second key for the second guest.

A lot of electrical outlets at the bed. Generally quiet, more or less good Wi-Fi if you're lucky with the room close to the router. Good breakfast included. Kettle and tea/coffee/milk in the room. No hassle (except the form) on check in and check out, kind staff. The hotel is right on the shore, and there's a lot of things to do around.

Breakfast was edible, but some improvement would make it much better. Low quality food and baked beans served cold. The hotel needs updating.

The breakfast is very basic, a proper cooked breakfast can keep you going all day where you can easily skip a lunch, but just having egg on toast does not provide adequate nutrition to get you through the day so you end up having lunch to make up the nutritional shortfall that you didn't get in the morning. That really was the only negative.

The location is spot on, and the room we required was available too, our fellow guests were very hospitable and engaged in dialogue throughout our stay.

Communal areas were very tired.Stair carpet is badly warn and could be a trip hazard.

Not being allowed food in the room and having to sign a waver agreeing not to felt like a prison. No hairdryer in room as advertised, tea/coffee in wardrobe?!

The beds are not comfy Second morning we went to breakfast and was told it had changed, no scrambled egg, no problem as I had hash Browns and beans, both were cold, my son asked for soft boiled eggs, unfortunately they were so over cooked he didn't eat them

Asked to change our room to one with a bath, the lady on reception did that for us for our second night , very good customer service

Breakfast is very limited but again it was included in the price.

Hotel was OK, it needs a bit of updating but for £60 a night you can't fault it. The location is perfect, no parking but street parking outside is £7.50 for the day and free after 4pm. If you aren't stuck up it's an it'll do hotel. If you want luxury, spend more.

The bed was so uncomfortable had springs sticking in you was a horrible nights sleep turned over springs in your back and the headboard banged off the wall In desperate need of a new bed room 104 Breakfast was ok except for poached eggs asked for them soft but were rock hard.

On arrival nice reception lady advised someone had already checked in using our surname? She ran up the stairs and moved people out of our room we had booked. Disappointed 1. Lied to as we checked the guest list whilst she was upstairs and there was no one else with same surname. 2.Everytime we check in we have to show proof of id (which is good)even though we stay here once/twice a month. Noisy people coming back in after midnight slamming doors. Breakfast not earlier enough when you have a fair way to travel and staff were late arriving this morning. Again in-sufficient one four slice toaster to cater for everyone. Creates a queue everytime.

The shower was faulty and kept turning on during the night with the handle flying off randomly. There was tabbacco in my draw when I arrived and the radiator didn't work. This building is still under improvement so although they offered the bar and room service it isn't up and running yet but I still had a lovely experience there.

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely.
