Enjoyable stay but issues will not deter us from coming back.

The plug in the bathroom sink requires attention as you have you have to manually pull it up to let the water escape form the sink. The shower was very disappointing poor pressure with only one small manual shower head. The fridge in the room is not working correctly, the cold drinks that we placed in the fridge were warm when we took them out the fridge the next day, The cooked breakfast was poor as the bacon and the tomatoes were both burnt on top, the sausages were very firm and dry as if they had been sitting on the hot plate for a while and the poached eggs hadn't been drained very well which left water on the plate which permeated the other breakfast items. Shame no one asked for feedback when we checked out.

Friendly, welcoming staff. Location was very good.

No evening meal was an option. We had to rely on a takeaway which was frankly inedible. Cook food in smaller batches to preserve quality. Smaller mushrooms are nicer than large ones. Add some dried fruit and seeds to the cold buffet and fresher fruit to the fruit basket. Toasted oats and coconut flakes (not nuts) would also be nice. More grain bread, not just 50/50. Almond butter would mean those with a peanut allergy (in which peanuts can be airborne) could attend breakfast. A healthier breakfast 'special' could also benefit athletes and guests eg healthier muffins or a hot dish. The sausage wasn't great, nor were the mushrooms.

The reception staff were great. The shower was good, and the bed was comfortable. The room was uncomplicated. It was clean. The heat was easy to control. Curtain were good blackout quality.

Large double bed but mattress was on a plywood platform and so was quite firm. I had a disabled room (which wasn't requested). It had a large wet room. The shower wasn't easy to operate.

Located on the campus so offers an alternative to the conference centre accommodation. Modern and clean. Parking possible - have to go through a barrier to get to the entrance. Breakfast had a reasonable range of choices.

Staff hard to find at times, difficult to get hold of anyone, even for check out. Ended up waiting for 15mins which was not ideal. Parking system is a bit confusing and can be very busy in the area with other parked cars.

Nice clean room, right on campus.

It was all brilliant! Little tricky to find once on uni campus as not well signposted.

Exceptionally clean and well maintained throughout the whole hotel including all outside areas. Staff were friendly, professional and always happy to help. Check in was simple and quick and the room was spacious, well equipped and a really comfortable nights sleep. Highly recommend

Unfortunately I found the breakfast poor and lukewarm which was disappointing. Poached egg was. hard, bacon hard and not warm enough, coffee machine gave very poor weak coffee , The dining area was very clean and the staff were pleasant but the quality of the breakfast was not ideal .

Helpful friendly receptionist clean pleasant room with comfortable bed. Ideal location for attending granddaughters graduation. All areas of the university grounds were clean and free from litter.

Water pressure in the shower wasn't great and the water wasn't very hot, but serviceable. The site is very busy at night for sports use so only a couple of parking spaces available but there were more carparks on site that we could have used.

Perfect location for my son's interview at the university. Quiet location, although the restaurant was not open the incredibly helpful and patient manager guided us to a restaurant where we had an excellent dinner.

There should be another way to clean those bathroom. Every time a person takes bath, the water just stays on the floor and never gets drained unless or until either wiped with a towel or wiped through a manual wiper. Both were not present in the bathrooms. Plus, the bathroom ventilation system need to be more efficient, the current one takes for ever to dry and take ventilate.

The room was comfortable. The beds are were of just the right size, as needed by a small family. The bar was also fully loaded, with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
