Instructions for arrival and departure excellent. Beautiful flat with great facilities. Perfect position for the centre of Edinburgh and wonderful local restaraunts/cafes for brunch and dinner. Walking distance to murrayfield. Would definitely stay here again.

A few maintenance issues; e.g. cracks in basin (en suite), some lights don't work or flickering.

Everything was thought out and we have nothing to comment on that we did not like.

We felt very welcomed to the property! The owner was very accommodating and helped us out when we really needed it which made a huge impact on our stay. Street noise was minimal and security was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

The stay was amazing, there wasn’t really any faults apart from the only thing we picked up was that the furniture could do with a bit of a deep clean/dust as it was slightly marked/damaged. But the apartment was not dirty and this was the only fault, we will definitely be back again!

The location was amazing we also got a brilliant deal especially with the Christmas mark eats being on, and for the money the amount of space you get is amazing, when we first came in we went into the main kitchen living dining room and thought oh no tv how strange, it wasn’t till a hour later when we found the door to the upstairs part with a huge extra living area with a tv and sofa, we couldn’t believe how spacious the apartment was! The beds were also very comfy and the bedrooms were a generous size, don’t let the reviews about the stairs put you off as we seen this as a bonus really as you had a better view out the windows and more room due to the duplex, the fact that this comes with a free garage is amazing also!

Not a fault with the property but there was loud road works on until 3am right outside the apartment, just bad timing.

Loved the comfy sofa area upstairs, and the nice little things like already having some fruit there, milk, tea bags etc.

Everything, communication was clear. Location is fantastic, the apartment is beautiful, clean and full of light, the beds are very comfortable and the ensuite was an added bonus, has everything you need to be comfortable. Really appreciated the sky tv channels as we are from NZ and were able to watch the All blacks play Ireland

You need to climb four flights of stairs and it's not suitable for the elderly or disabled. But for young people it is unbeatable.

We were in flat 4 which was at the very top and had a lot of stairs to climb which was probably not suitable for less abled people.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and well equipped.

The rubbish in the hallway. Whilst this isn't the direct responsibility of the owner, the bags of rubbish just behind the entrance to the building at the bottom of the stairs leave a horrible first impression.

Single thing to regret was that we could not stay more!

A really deluxe place to be in Edinburgh, especially for families and if with a car - unless you are affraid (or facing any difficulties) of climbing to the third floor in a sufficiently wide staircase. Optimal location in the Newtown - a lot of pubs and bars along Rose Str., short walking distance to the Castle, Waverly Station and, practically, almost everywhere else. Meanwhile, having a garage only few steps nearby is simply incomparable bonus for those who plan exploring also the Scotish countryside. Self check-in and out worked well and having a nice welcome package in the kitchen was also a great help. The entire family felt at home and really enjoyed the place. As a general remark (but no complaints!!) - non-UK guests should keep in mind local electricity issues, namely - need of plug adapters and other small specifics, such as f.ex. the side-switches to the sockets. No real problems at all, if you are prepared. For other technical matters as the hot water, do not forget to check first the detailed use guide in the living room before potentially getting worried (we thought being left without hot water one morning, but it was back in a minute after a mere reset of the boiler done by myself = non-specialist). No doubts whatsoever to choose this great place again for a next visit to Edinburgh!

The climb up the stairs to the apartment….a lot and would be a struggle for anyone not very fit.

Really cluthing at straws here..... I'm fit and well but found taking food/drinks/ luggage up the flights tiring, so a lift for older guests or less able would obviously be ideal. Also the nearest bin to take our waste was 5 minute walk so this will probably lead to fly tipping on the streets of Edinburgh sadly.

The place was amazing, bigger than expected , cosy and warm with a high finish and lovely furniture. Great selection of games and loved the welcome hamper. The apartment was More than we could imagine. The garage space was a brilliant bonus and save ££££££ in parking fees.

No hot water running which we believed to be an oversight with having this available to us. Due to apartment positives we accepted this 1 negative experience as short stay and notified owner on departure .

There were signs that the decor and furnishings were a little tired, marks on the walls and on the soft furnishings but I didn't impact our stay and we would definitely stay here again!

Loved the location of the property and it had all of the amenities you could need for a city break! The apartment was decorated lovely too!

There was a fire alarm that went off one morning. Someone came in and silenced the alarm but no directions were given. Numbers on door would have been nice.

Place was lovely and exactly how you see in the pictures. It was pristine and everything you needed were there. Staff was great too and responded to every question quickly. Location was amazing because it's so close to everything.
