Although our room was obviously newly decorated, the other areas of the hotel were sadly neglected, and in great need of refurbishment. The outside area likewise was neglected and tatty and in need of a good sweeping, tidy and clean up. First impressions were not good at all so our room was a pleasant surprise.

Needs a bit of an update and lounge area decluttering.

Fairly good location for the beach and shops. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, cooked to order. Did have some parking which is expensive throughout the area.

Hotel is in need of some tlc. For example a patch of ceiling leaking over our heads at breakfast. Communal area downstairs being used as a storage area, this could be hidden away with something like a curtain

The room was clean and tidy and a good size. Location was close to the beach and hotel offered free parking on site. Nice touches of biscuits and fresh milk being topped up in room for tea and coffees

The worst bit was hearing the swearing from the kitchen whilst sitting in the breakfast room with my 11 year old - the f-bomb was dropped twice :( Also we said we would be down for breakfast at 9 but being told the other couple would be down at 8.30 - so we came down at 8.30 (as it seemed like a hint) and then feeling like we’d caused inconvenience by being early! Could do with replacing their hotel information book - looks really battered!

Owner welcomed us on arrival in the carpark, helped with bags and showed us to our room. Room was lovely and spacious. Bathroom was the same and lovely with bath and shower. Breakfast was lovely too! Thank you

Clean and fresh and Cosy. Location very good. staff couldn't do to much for you. And you were guaranteed a parking space and not charged extra to park like most other hotels in area.

Breakfast good a bit slow in coming waited nearly an hour everything else was very good ideal for the beach and the town. Room very comfortable and our dog was more than welcome. Would definitely stay again good value for money

The garden area was uninviting and untidy. Communal area was also uninviting, dark and dowdy. The place has an interesting history, would like to see more around the communal rooms.

There were, unfortunately, some renovations underway in the lounge and dining area on the two days of our stay. Did not disturb us at all, though. It just meant that first impression on arrival was not as anticipated, but the room, excellent location, and good breakfast made up for it.

A lovely, quiet location, walking distance from the centre and a very spacious, elegantly decorated, spotless room with a large en suite. Friendly owner, his advice saved us time on our visit to Corfe Castle! Good breakfast, free parking was also appreciated.
