Room was a little small, and unfortunately the shower wasn't up to the job it was there to do, spray was more a dribble! The bathroom really was in need of attention. Wasn't able to report it as there was no staff at reception on check out, however I did mention it to housekeeping.

I never managed to connect to Wifi. On arrival, reception warned me it was not very good but it wouldn't connect at all. The place was relaxed and comfortable but the carpets in reception and on the stairs were rather shabby and uninviting for first impressions.

The staff were helpful and friendly, especially the young man who was on duty virtually all the time we were there! The full Welsh breakfast was very good and service in the breakfast room was excellent. The location of the hotel in the centre of town was great, there was plenty of parking space and lovely views

We were given the wrong room to start, had to show my booking to be moved. There is only one member of staff in the evening and when it's busy you wait a while to be served. The ironing board fell apart on us.

Good location, food was brilliant in the evening. Room was spacious. They allowed us to check in after 12.

The location is good, in the Llanrwst village, close to convenience stores. It's a good base for exploring N.Wales Big room and traditional decoration Hotel breakfast is good

It took 10 mins for the shower to get any warmth. No extra loo paper and not a full roll to.use.

The only thing that would make the hotel better is if there was a lift. I was on the second floor and have arthritis so I struggled with the stairs

Sink in the bathroom was very slow to drain; temperature control knob in the shower stopped functioning resulting in an excessively hot shower spray.

Handsome old building beside the River Conwy. Room was large and spacious with a four-post canopy bed. Good bar and dining facilities onsite. Food was good. Staff were friendly and helpful.G

The shower in my room was poor. There was very little pressure and the temperature of the water was low! I was really looking forward to a long hot shower with a decent amount of power, but alas no. Also, the general decoration of the hotel does need updating. Chipped paintwork and tired carpet. Simple things to fix that can make this hotel great!

Wonderful food! Comfy beds and a nice relaxed atmosphere. The owners have a very interesting menus. They have the normal pub meals, but also amazing Indian food.

The dining room for evening meals felt a little bereft and had to wait a long time to buy a drink in there. Barrels were delivered around 7am and it woke us up.

Lovely old building with nice features. Great location. The Indian menu looked great. The breakfast was good. Best poached eggs.
