Again we wish to thank both Lesley and Stephen for our lovely stay. They made sure we had everything we needed throughout our six days with them. Stephen was happy to advise on local places to visit and eat. The room was a great size and very clean. Breakfast was very good and loved to home made yogurt and porridge.

Leslie & Steven were wonderful hosts. We really enjoyed their passion about the guesthouse and their welcoming care. Room was very clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities. Extra plus for the freshly prepared breakfast, which offers good vegetarian options as well.

Lesley and Steven were perfect hosts. As soon as we arrived they greeted us and helped with our bags. We had kids with us, they made such a fuss over them. The location of the b&b was good for the highland wildlife centre and landmark. ( what we had come up for) Rooms were immaculate and well sized. Breakfast was great; even my kids ate it all. Overall I would highly recommend, the dunmhor. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely stay there.

We had a terrific stay at Dunmhor Guest house! It's a very nice place with an extremely cozy atmosphere. Stephen and Lesley are amazing hosts, who took great care of us. Their personal touches with home cooked breakfast (many different options) and daily fresh milk for tea are splendid. They also gave us personal advice on hikes in the region. We would highly recommend Dunmhor Guest house and this Exceptional rating on booking.com is very well deserved!

Creeking door of en suite needed attention. It woke the whole house during the night when it was visited. Toasters need updating. One set the fire alarm off because toast did not eject when ready.

Enjoyable breakfast. Good choice including porridge. Kingussie is a small area but there are several eating places including pubs restaurants, fish and chips and indian. Some green spaces and views of the surrounding hills.

Nothing to improve on!

The service, cleanliness of the guest house, as well as the warm, friendly welcome from the owners was first class. Couldn’t fault the superb breakfast either. As they are only open at certain times of the year, & intermittently, we feel we were lucky to secure a booking here, & will definitely look to stay here again in the future. Ruthven Barracks are well worth a visit if you’re staying in Kingussie.

Very welcoming hosts and lovely with the children. Rooms great, especially having a separate space for the children. Room was very clean and fresh. Breakfast was fab, ordered night before so you didnt wait long on arrival at breakfast. If was up this way again would definitely stay again.

Steven & Lesley were fantastic hosts, very attentive, welcoming and a very pleasant couple. Made us feel so welcome. 10/10 Room was cosy, clean, had everything we needed and the bed was super comfortable, best sleep iv had for a while! (Need to get myself 1 of they mattresses) Breakfast was delicious also :)

Absolutely lovely place! The house was very easy to locate, parking was easy, and the couple who run it were so nice and sweet! Breakfast was great. I was slightly nervous about my first “real” B&B experience. But our hosts were helpful but not intrusive. The other guests we only saw at breakfast. We had an excellent stay! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Wifi was good - didn’t get too hot - on suite was small but well done. Restaurants and pubs in easy walking distance.

The house was so homely and welcoming as were our hosts. They couldn't do enough for us and were very helpful about the area helping us to choose where to eat. The room was very clean with excellent facilities. We would recommend this B&B to anyone who wished to visit this area of Scotland.
