There is no reception at night and people come and go, it's a place for people who want to have a party. You get a key card and a door code, staff is present only when you check-in. Extremely noisy at night, it was really loud, I could hear people talking and laughing, going in and out of their rooms. At 3am I was woken up by a group of people in the corridor making a lot of noise. The room is ok it didn't look as good as in the photos, and the window opens with a view on a brick wall. Overall, the place feels more "hostel" than "boutique hotel".

Good location, close to the centre and various cafes and restaurants. I was in Liverpool for work and I picked this place because of the location. The bed was comfortable and the room was of good size and clean. The guy at reception was very friendly.

Not really a dislike as such but having to get reception to control room temperature is a very minor inconvenience if you don't get the temperature right at first.

Great location for exploring the Ropewalks , Georgian Quarter and Chinatown. Room was nice and dark and quiet despite the busy road. Shower was nice and hot and powerful. The fridge in the room is really handy. Bed comfy. The a/c works really well.

The aircon system is controlled by reception on a computer and for some reason one of our rooms kept changing temperature every couple of hours. Had to go to reception multiple times to sort.

Very strong smell of drains coming from the bathroom. Had to put wet towels over the plug holes to lessen the smell. We had a lower ground floor room. For a boutique hotel it was very basic. Stayed two nights but no clean towels or fresh tea and coffee. There was no coffee machine it was just basic tea and coffee with the packet milk which is fine but shouldn't really market as a boutique hotel.

It's just a room, and the bed is "cosy", comfortable, but you can only get in one side - at least in our room. Not a phenomenal amount of storage - but it's cheaper than most go good value.

Ideal location, easy check in despite quite enormous list of does and months in booking email.

Early checkout at 10am which is the latest time for checkout. No security safe available in the room even though it said there was one available. No toilet scrubber for using the toilet but luckily the toilet remained clean. Room was much smaller than expected but for solo stay, it just about worked.

Room was cozy for myself, the decor was brilliant. Bed was amazingly comfy. Staff were incredibly friendly.

We had stayed here in the past and we loved it, however, this time the room was underground, so day light wouldn't come through. It's ok for short stays, but it is not ideal for a week stay like ours.

Very central and with a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea available and cleaned room and bathroom. The lift was very useful.

Excellent location, easy to park on the road as I arrived after 6 and was leaving before 8. I had two separate bookings for the two night stay and they kindly accommodated so that we didn’t have to check out/move rooms. Staff were wonderful. Loved having a fridge and proper glasses!

The television didn't work; I found the room stuffy so I had to sleep with the window open; my sleep was disturbed by noisy people arriving late, noise outside, traffic talking, sirens etc My room was not cleaned on the Saturday. Had I known this, in advance, I would have hung the towels up to dry and not used them to mop up the overflow from the shower ...

No breakfast ! I liked the layout of the basic room ...funky and adequate and spotlessly clean

As I said with previous review - the lack of a shower door meant that the bathroom floor became flooded - not ideal. Also, as it was a different room from previous visit, it was a different layout with the bed was in an alcove and only easily accessible on 1 side plus it seemed to take some of the length away from the bed which wasn't great as we are both over 6 feet tall.

Second time staying at this hotel within a few weeks. Same helpful member of staff checked us in. Similar room - very clean and appreciated the fridge.

Lovely room in great location, 24 hour reception. Liked the added bonus of a fridge - don't always get that. Comfy bed. The night receptionist was very friendly and helpful (hope he finally got rid of his cough !). We were offered a late check out (at an extra cost) which worked out well with our plans. They were also willing to look after our luggage after check-out.

Cleaners opened the door without knocking. If im to stay again please tell your cleaners to knock before coming in otherwise great stay and great reception, will 100% be back
