We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomThe windows were draughty, especially behind the twin beds, and voices could be heard from the nearby pub until 11.30pm both evenings.
The location was fantastic- so convenient for all that Henley has to offer. The house was decorated to a high standard, newly carpeted and with a modern, well-equipped kitchen including generous amounts of coffee, tea, cooking oil etc. The sitting room was very comfortable with plenty of seating and a variety of games. Clean, modern bathrooms with good showers and fluffy towels.

FranceTop floor double bed is TINY. Downstairs shower room gets very wet when you have a shower. Hot water heater made a lot of noise - a bit scary! Could have been a bit cleaner - out of date food in the fridge!!!!!

United Kingdom1) the quality of the mattress and bedding/ duvet. It was cheap quality, synthetic bedding and the mattress felt like it had seen some action. 2) Having heavy curtains especially in the twin room would have kept the heat in. Being an old building with windows that are not double glazing due to being listed you can feel the cold especially when in the bed. There was an additional throw over blanket but it did not help.
1) The location was outstanding, central, 1 car packing space. Easy access to the high street. 2) Spacious living room to sit all together. 3) two nice size bedrooms with two ensuites. 4) quick response from the owners and on call to help when needed.

The cottage was quiet even though in the centre of town. Very well decorated. All facilities were good. Great location.

United KingdomInitially disappointed that there were no toiletries, only one towel per person and the parking was not available for the first two days. The parking was a one off which was unavoidable and the rest didn’t matter as the location and hosts were wonderful.
The location is wonderful and the cottage is very comfortable. The hosts also really make the effort to make it a good stay. The kitchen is properly equipped so you can actually cook if you don't fancy going out one night.

United KingdomThe parking space is a little tricky to maneuver into if other guests at neighboring property are also parked, but with a little practice is fine.
Spacious cottage tucked away close to the center of the town. Excellent facilities throughout the property with everything provided that you might need for a stay. Good quality furnishings and clean throughout. Instructions for access arrangements were clear and easy to follow and a useful house manual with information about the property and surrounding area. A well equipped fully sized and functioning kitchen.
