Excellent property and location and our deluxe room was as large as some junior suites in other hotels

A very nice, comfortable and historic hotel.....we very much enjoyed the restaurant in the evening. We had a driver so did not go out in the evening. The staff are friendly and helpful. Quiet at night which we appreciated.

Breakfast perhaps increase the variety of bread being offered , eg soda baked bread or baguettes . Menu could be more varied for lunch . Minor point Fridge could be colder .

Good simple quality food, cooked well. Descend breakfast . The pastries particular favourite.Good pastry chef . Professional staff all round, makes a huge difference . Always a really pleasant , comfortable stay and experience at Du Vin. Comfortable beds/ great hot running showers and nice gardens. Very good location.

Dinner at restaurant. The room looked nice and it obviously considered itself to be of high standard, but the food (and service) the one night we ate there was not good. (Breakfast, howevet, was good). We stayed 6 nights and evrry night we asked for the terrace lights to be turned off (they shone i to our room), but this proved surprisingly very difficult. The 12.5 % 'discriminatory' service charge is a disgrace - forcing the onus on the customer to be the bad guy when asking for it to br removed.

    Room, spacious, quiet

Room size... Our room was classed as "Cosy"..maybe for Stuart Little!! The wardrobe door hit the end of the bed...difficult to walk round the bed without holding the wall or bed.

Good breakfast The car park is very small, but if you pre-book they will reserve a place

I was rather tired and in need of refurbishment. I was disappointed that it lacked the stylishness of Stratford Upon Avon. I was allocated a room in the “annexe”.

Close to the station and shops.

The bathroom had not be completely cleaned but this was put right as soon as we reported it. The breakfast was quite expensive, so we ate out on two occasions. There are plenty of places to breakfast in Tunbridge Wells.

Comfortable basic room with excellent shower. The lighting was good (past visits to other H de V have been in poorly lit rooms with no reading lights.
