No air con in the room and it was a very hot day. More to be done for people with allergies, breakfast had no labels for nut free options and the nuts were in an open bowl next to breakfast cereals enabling cross contamination.

Smallest of niggles - like to listen to Greatest Hits Radio normally available via TV in room, but not so in this case. Got around it by putting laptop up :-)

Pleasant room with full facilities ie tea/coffee iron and ironing board. Bed HUGE and v.comfortable. Window could be opened for real fresh air - BONUS!. Breakfast selection of cereal adequate and coffee really good in quality and size of mug. But cooked breakfast - WOW. Best poached eggs I've had in many a journey away. Thanks Draycote for making my short stay enjoyable. PS Your staff are spot on, very helpful and polite.

I couldn't believe the dining room,for a Saturday evening ,it was like a greasey spoon ,no candle ,no flower ,no condiments very poor ,and my cider batter cod was so thin and batter raw ,l did mention this when asked about my food ,did not make a fuss ,gentleman was very help ,offered to change my food ,l said no so he bought myself and .my husband a complimentary drink. Such a let down ,was really expecting better in the dining room.

Quiet room was not so quiet largely due to some ballon stomping around upstairs at 05:00 - clearly not the hotels fault, however the rear car park has the sort of golfer that has yet to experience self control after a bad game so numerous driver left with wheels spinning - perhaps a laser cannon for offenders.

The location was brilliaant just off the A45. The room was great for a 3 star and very clean. Having tried numerous other hotels in the Rugby area even as far a Daventry this is the best all rounder with pleasant staff as standard not as an option with others. The test was to be the food wich was brilliant and served with defereence with an attentive staff. ie the double cheesburger was just that a double pattie as oppose to others who think a double cheesburger is 2 types of cheese - really. This is a rare find and judging on this first visit will not be the last as it hits all the right buttons.

As part of our booking we were offered breakfast included for around £20 extra. We didnt book this option as we were planning to get away quickly in the morning. Due to bad weather our plans changed but when asking about breakfast we were informed it would be £14.95 each for an adult and a child. The breakfast hostess went to ask her manager to see if there was any movement in price but the manager said that couldnt be done. We went elsewhere for breakfast as I felt £30 was far too much for an adult and a child.

Overall presentation and look of the hotel was good. The room was smaller than expected but well equiped and the shower was excellent. A decent kettkle and the bed was comfy.

Would suggest to staff to point out that uber is available and cheap in area if required to go to nearby venue. when initially asked reception they kindly did suggest a local taxi company however at a very high cost as they come from rugby. But uber is readily available and a fraction of the cost.

unfortunately i paid £20 extra for two zfold beds for the kids that were dangerous and 3 kids plus my wife had to sleep on one bed. springs missing, so there were big gaps that the kids could fall through, metal rods sticking out that could of literally seriously hurt them

There were no problems at all. It is a budget range hotel, so the rooms are simple but have everything needed for a short stay.

A very comfortable stay in connection with an equine event being run nearby. Excellent meal for 14 people in the evening and a very nice breakfast which is available from 06.00 for early starters. The hotel is very clean and the staff were extremely helpful.

The room could do with some maintenance. Some of the light didn't work. The reception on the TV was very poor. Kept going distorted and blocky. The aerial output on the wall above the TV wasn't fixed to the wall, maybe that's the problem? I've had far better rooms for less money.

We wanted a cocktail but was advised by the bar staff on duty that it was not possible, no reason why, but we thought they probably didn't have the experience. Was a little disappointed.

Good room size and very clean. We had both dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was excellent quality and value.
