We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The breakfast was superb and more than enough to keep you going all day. The garden and the whole of the premises were immaculate. Huw meeting us at the front gate in anticipation of our arrival set the tone for our stay. Sally is the perfect hostess. Highly recommended.

The owners were very accommodating in providing gluten free products, milk, bread and cakes, for my wife and the breakfast was superb. The bed was the most comfortable that i had slept in for a long time.

United KingdomAddress was very difficult to find for my taci driver who did seem otherwise quite familiar with the area so it could be better signposted as it took us ages to find it especially in the dark as there is no sign up as such but it is a private room in someone s home. They do not like to take bookings for the next day but booking.con did noy respect their wishes which initially made it awkward for each of us .

Huw and Sally were very welcoming hosts. The room was comfortable and very clean. We were even treated to homemade flapjacks. Breakfast was exceptional with a really good variety of delicious delights such as compote, overnight oats, jams and marmalade - all homemade. There was enough choice of cooked breakfast and plenty of toast and hot/cold drinks. Thank you so.much, you are highly recommended!.

United KingdomHard to think of anything! The room would perhaps be a little on the small side for a couple who wanted to sit in it of an evening.
The room was tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was magnificent, with lots of home-prepared food and a good choice. Huw and Sally, the hosts, were welcoming and helpful , happy to chat without ever intruding. Their friendly dog did his bit to welcome us too. The B and B is readily walkable from the city centre for people who can manage a modest hill, so less need to drive.

So friendly, so accommodating and kind. The room was nicely decorated and extremely comfortable with a lovely view of the garden. Tea and coffee facilities are extra special - real milk, not long life stuff, in your own little fridge, delicious home made flapjacks. Probably the best breakfast I've had. Huw cures his own sausages and bacon. The preserves are homemade and delicious. Fresh orange juice. No tinned fruit, thank goodness. The kitchen where you have breakfast is homely and comfortable with a logburner and Classic FM is gently playing in the background. Super close to the centre too.

The owners were accommodating and took any stress away from finding the property. The room was bright, clean and beautifully decorated, as was the en-suite. A mini kitchen was provided for our comfort. Really, no detail was missed and the breakfast was stunning. A colourful fresh continental and a choice of cooked breakfasts too. Breakfast was very nice I had homemade stewed apples and plums, that was really tasty. I also had the hake and egg which was very nice too. Comfy bed, l had a good sleep.
