Slight damp smell in bathroom after a few days but kept opening the window to let some air flow through

We had a really good stay at the bungalow. It was clean, comfortable, and well-located for our needs. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to others.

Nothing major really. The dials on the oven are so faded it’s hard to tell what to turn them to. But we managed after finding the manual and some guess work. I messaged the owner about perhaps noting on her info page that she would like owners to pick up their own dog mess! She was very apologetic about this but really it’s not somethings she can allow for. Come on owners!! Otherwise she may stop accepting dogs!!

Very spacious and modern fixtures and fittings. Lovely thick carpet. Bright. Good sized enclosed garden. Good stock of equipment in the kitchen. Simple to access and very responsive owner.

It would need a small table in the garden, as we had chairs and a small bench but not a table .

Super location, far from the crowded places , not on a busy road , nice and clean ,comfortable beds ,big rooms , kitchen with everything you need .We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely bungalow. 😍

A very clean , cosy and tidy cosy place. Excellent location best for family. My kids love staying there. It was really seems to them home to home visit. Very responsive .

I don’t have any dislikes

The bungalow was very spacious and comfortable. It was also immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable we all slept really well. It was also in a good location. 5 mins walk to a beautiful country park Longland Lake and close to the coast as well only 10 mins in the car to St Bees heritage coast which was stunning Also Cleator moor Town was very close by only 5 mins away in the car and had a small grocery shop open until 9.30pm and a range of take away restaurants. So this was all very convenient. Great spot to explore the Lake District would definitely recommend.

It could have done with a clothes airer for wet walking gear, but that is being addressed. Not within walking distance of a pub.

Probably a bit more rural than we realised so we travelled to Whitehaven for evening meals.

Beautiful cottage with comfy beds, and lovely clean kitchen /bathroom that were well kitted out. Nice gesture of the welcome hamper with wine and nibbles. Enclosed back garden great for our dog.

Decor and cleanliness. Good, enclosed, large back garden for the dogs. Nice spacious kitchen for dogs to sleep at night Friendly neighbours, good location for walks Welcome pack was appreciated. Netflix available Met host on departure who was very amenable and friendly Next doors dog, "moose" was very friendly and sweet :)

Some parts could do with either upgrading or maintenance. The markings on the cooker where worn out and one door we couldn't open and the other was difficult to operate. And the second sofa was very uncomfortable, 6 people would struggle for seating.

Lovely well presented Bungalow conveniently located for both the coast and Lake District.

My partner and I loved it all! The hosts were great, the home had everything & more! Even a picnic basket of treats for our arrival which was lovely after a 6 hour drive! They were very accommodating and the home was pristine. Wish we were staying longer!
