Best sleep we have had in years, decoration was beautiful and it was in a peaceful location. The staff were lovely, very helpful and polite. Breakfast was amazing we have decided we will stay here each time we visit Bournemouth.

No Dressing Gowns or slippers which we would expect for the cost of the Room. We got a last minute deal which I am pleased about as I wouldn't want to pay full price. Certainly not worth £284.00....

We stayed one night at Derby Manor Guesthouse and absolutely loved our stay. I keep my decor in my house quite neutral and booked this as I loved the looks of the rooms; I was not disappointed; they were exactly as the photos showed. We stayed in the Grand National room and it was immaculately clean, very spacious, with a super comfy bed and a large bathroom. We loved having a full size, deep bath and the separate shower had amazing pressure! We were welcomed when we arrived with a professional friendly welcome and shown the bar and additional lounge room that guests can use, both which are tastefully decorated and it was such an added bonus to have this space. We were also given a list of local restaurants and cafes; we chose one of these (The Larder House) to have dinner at and it was amazing. Upon returning home from Derby Manor, I realised I’d left my coat hanging in the hotel room. I contacted the hotel and they could not be more helpful and even offered and promptly returned my coat to me (within the UK) free of charge. I would not hesitate again to book to stay at the Derby Manor Guesthouse and my only regret is that our stay was not longer.

Cooked breakfast very small. Dining room staff were too inexperienced to be left unsupervised. For example, they thought the hot water urn was ready when a red light showing, rather than realise that signifies the water is not boiling until the amber light. I explained it to one of them on the second morning as her colleague made tea the day before with lukewarm water. No staff to help with bags.

My mobility challenged husband was unable to get into the bath to have a shower and we were also up some very steep steps that he struggled with. However, this was MY fault for not mentioning his mobility problems up front. On our arrival date late afternoon the receptionist was brilliant - really helpful and professional. The following day there was a different receptionist who we found much frostier.

The rooms were amazing - really lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was fine but glad we had a car with us.

The water in the bathroom was not hot from both the shower & the sink. The bathroom itself was narrow & it was quite difficult to move about as the sink was large, high up on the wall & directly opposite the door.

Whole hotel was very quirkily decorated & in excellent condition, it was spotlessly clean. Our room, Aintree, was a good size, it had a small wardrobe, a dressing table & a very comfortable bed. Bottled water was left for us & a good supply of tea & coffee etc.It was a nice touch to have coffee etc available in the lounge at all times. Breakfast was good with the usual choice. Parking was free. A small garden outside which was very well kept.

Cooked breakfast little sparce - one sausage, one bacon and fried egg with a very small portion of beans, very very small slice of tomato

Bed was lovely and big and very comfortable. Room very spacious. Tea and coffee in lounge was a nice touch. Breakfast was nice, i had porridge which was lovely, Partner had the full English Breakfast
