There were loose tiles on the bathroom floor, the shower head was terrible (barely let the water out) and the bed was squeaky (everytime I rolled over it made a noise and woke me)

Personal preference would be to have bottled water in the room as I don’t drink tea or coffee, thicker duvet although there was a blanket on the bed so I wasn’t cold, the light bulb in the side lamp was very dull

There is very limited on site parking.

The hotel is situated in opposite the town hall and backs onto the River Welland. Free on site parking. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable with free wi-fi. Food in both the evening and breakfast. Breakfast from 07.00am. Well located for my work. I would definitely stay here again, when I am in the area.

Rooms get very hot, there was a fan in the room however was noisy having it on when trying to sleep.

Lovely location - near shops and beautiful scenery. Great area for residents to sit in, away from the pub area. Easy to find and room was a great size.

The only thing I didn't like was the shouting and commotion outside in the town square, outside The Bull pub. Their arguing kept me up until two in the morning.

I recommend their restaurant their menu choice was very good. Staff were lovely and very welcoming, nice breakfast and great choice.

When I booked I asked for a room with not to many stairs to climb they accepted my request, but when we arrived they put us in the very top floor with 4 lots of stairs to climb I was not at all happy but I told the girl and she said we are fully booked and could not do nothing about it, it was a really nice room but the stairs were to much, we booked early enough thought they would have saved a room for us, Would stay again but not in room 7

Had to look around for staff on arrival and also when we went for breakfast.The bed was so small turned over and nearly fell out,and before you comment I'm only a size 12 so not a big person.

The location of the hotel was lovely.The breakfast was great.

The room and communal areas for guests just needs a little bit of TLC, the shower had a fault to it which meant we couldn't adjust the height etc the shower head kept falling out. This was reported to staff.

The Hotel as a whole is absolutely fine, parking, food, welcoming and friendly staff, the location to have a nice walk is good and also to visit other villages nearby. For the price which included breakfast, good value.
