Nice clean room and kitchen facilities

Parking is limited but I parked in the public car park within two minutes walk.

Clean and comfy room. Accommodating host-10/10. Will definitely return if I am around this area.

Limited choice of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking situation wasn't ideal as there were not too many spaces at the venue.

Facilities were good - fairly straightforward to use even if there weren't any staff around.

All good.

Nice small size room. Very clean. Very comfortable. Shower was good. Room came with everything I needed. Parking was easy. Security was easy. Didn't need to carry a key around.

A decent place to stay and economical. The shower could use a good scrub though. Had to drive 15 minutes for choice of restaurants. Can't complain about the price, so close to Heathrow.

Minor issue with shower not draining quickly enough, but probably just an issue with that one room. Kettle worked fine but seemed to be one that you turned off and on at wall as far as I could tell which took a bit of working out.

Keycode entry system worked well (no one needed to be there to check you in). Communal eating area for breakfast, spacious, clean and modern. Room was comfortable. TV, kettle tea and coffee making .Basic breakfast was fine - juice, butter. milk etc in fridge + bread and croissants. Friendly communications. Clean room. Hot shower.

Nothing. The TV remote needed new batteries but not a dislike.

Extremely clean, comfy bed, fresh and soft sheets, great kitchen / dining area, car parking spaces and safe lit car park just a few doors down. Auto lighting on the walkways, great bathroom, coffee facility in room, USB sockets for phone charging. Park and woodland for dog walking just round the corner . Nice easy breakfast , fresh milk in the fridge and a lovely fruit bowl. Loved having a pin code rather than a key/card. Totally soundproof and I slept like a log even being on a flight path and road

Room 5 digital TV signal poor for BBC 1 & 2. No cooking tray available for using mini "Tower" oven/grill ( Did check every available cupboard and drawer.) Didn't find any foil which could have been used to cover shelf.

After a break of 5 years or so, very pleased to find the room and cleanliness up to previous standards.Previous option of cooked breakfast at nearby cafe no longer available but plentiful supplies in communal kitchen for a generous continental style breakfast.

You can't help the human elements. It's a very quiet, safe feeling area but people can be selfish and dim. You will hear everything in the place and because it's not manned nobody is around to say "keep it down please". Maybe a bloody big sign in the dining room would help? I had a really disturbed sleep due to drunk morons coming in at midnight and deciding to converse for an hour at the top of their voices, plus setting off the automated lights every 2 minutes outside. You can't climb one stair without it creaking. That however is not the fault of the owners and was bad luck. It is a very well run clean and tidy safe stop over with plenty nearby.

Nice little inexpensive stop over place. It is what it is. Somewhere to rest your head for a night. Nice pub down the road or takeaway chinky and pizza next door. Little breakfast cafe if the provided stuff isn't enough for you.

Not much. My only complaint was the shower was cold on the last morning of our stay and sharing a fridge with everyone is a bit funky, however all was fine other than that.

Location is great and parking is straight forward. Plenty of stocked up cupboards for breakfast.

The room size was larger than expected as was the shower. Very clean and the communal area was also clean, tidy and more than acceptable. Continental breakfast was also well provided for. Cleaner was there every day of our stay and the owners parents also checked the food supply and were very welcoming.

Way too hot, struggled to sleep because of this. We had a large fan but couldn’t sleep because of the noise. We even had to have the front door wedged open to try and cool us down

I had room 6, which was more like a large cupboard than a room (I stayed in one of the rooms on the ground floor last time which was infinitely superior); the sink was too small and there is a only a single bed. Give this factor, I think room 6 should be made available at a lower cost?

Location of venue was ideal for my visit and it was nice to be able to self serve breakfast for which there was ample.

All was good

Room 6 had clean lines and was very clean. all was available for a stay. Bed very comfortable and catering facilities exceptional. Free car park close to the lodge was a bonus as friends had mobility problems
