What a beautiful barn in the best location. If you don't like silence, stunning views and isolation, give it a miss. But if, like us, you love the raw beauty of Dartmoor, it doesn't get much better than this. Great kitchen Log burner, with logs provided Comfortably lounge area Nice bathroom. 1 minute walk to the open moor Just what we were after! Thank you.

Really happy with our stay but if you wanted to improve here are some suggestions- sofas quite small and not that comfortable for long sitting. Would have loved a visitor book and possibly a small welcome basket.

Easy to access property, good lighting in outside shed. Really clean property with everything we needed. Instructions for appliances. Comfy bed and nice crisp bedding. Great location. Great local pub in nearby village for food and Fox Tor cafe great too.

Location was amazing. Can't really comment on the hosts as we didn't need to see them as the property was very well equipped. I do think it slightly overpriced as we had to buy additional firelighters and 'dry wood' (wood supplied was too wet to burn) to keep the property warm and the wood burner is the main heating for the barn. Overall the full experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend it and go back !

Barn was gorgeous, easy to get to and access. Having the fire was awesome. The views were amazing. Good hikes without the need to drive to a new location. Selection of books and movies for the rainy evenings.

The WiFi speeds are a little slow which is to be expected given the location but it wasn’t a problem for a few days holiday

The property was very clean, it had the required utensils and overall a great place. It was in a great location, nestled deep into dartmoor, but not to iscolating. Closest supermarket was about a 20 minute drive. The walks and views were fantastic, and overall the stay was great.

Close to Tavistock but in Dartmoor National Park so ideal for walks with our puppy. The property was clean and comfortable in a lovely setting with beautiful views and with its own fenced garden

Everything about our stay was perfect, and most importantly the place was really clean. 10-15 min walk to Foggintor Quarry. 45-60 min walk to Princetown. Love how remote and private it was. Would definitely come back if we could.

Wonderful remote and peaceful location but still within a 5 minutes drive of Princetown. Excellent clean facilities (washing machine, dishwasher etc.) and lovely views of the Moors. Would definitely return.

Sofas could be bigger. Garden was nice but not enclosed as my dogs got out easily.

Lovely place, great views of the Moors and tors. Much more spacious than I expected from the photos on Booking. Well equipped and laid out kitchen, comfortable seating, very comfy bed. Very quiet, lots of birds...heard my first cuckoo! Well placed for walks, and only a short distance from the Foggintor quarry, which is amazing and you can wild swim there. Would love to stay there again.

This property is in an outstanding location, with a very open view across the western fringes of Dartmoor and all the way to Bodmin Moor beyond. The building has been very well fitted out, and was very comfortable to stay in.
