Sally and Robin were attentive without being overbearing. They gave us excellent hiking and site-seeing advice. Breakfast was amazing! The bed AND pillows were very comfortable. This was easily our best stay in Scotland.

There was nothing that the 4 of us (2 couples) didn't like about our stay at the Dalriada.

Sally and Robin were excellent! They were very friendly, lovely, and hospitable. The place was very clean and well kept. We enjoyed the breakfasts prepared. They were generous with the servings. Sally also made efforts to have little cakes for our afternoon teas. The property was close to the town. We will definitely look to stay there again if we visit Portree in the future.

Nothing to complain about, everything was great 😃.

Fantastic breakfast, delicious and beautifully served. It is full of different choices and home made things. Large portions with an option to take the leftovers on your trip. You also get homemade bakes as a little treat, which is just a lovely touch. The room was nice and spacious, VERY clean (cannot stress this enough), comfortable and cosy. Would definitely highly recommend staying there.

Personally, I’d like a block out blind/curtain in the bedroom. Nonetheless, the view is stunning.

Everything was perfect!

Our stay at Dalriada was perfect - a traditional bed and breakfast. The breakfast was wonderfully served with care with lots of options. The rooms were comfortable and our host provided lots of freshly baked cakes every day and biscuits etc. We also had lots of really lovely conversations with our hosts and they were even willing to drive us up to town with our bags on our final day as we didn't have a car.

We absolutely loved this accommodations. The two hosts were totally amazing. You feel very comfortable in their home. The room was extremely clean and very spacious. The breakfast was the best that we had in our entire trip. The fruit salad was amazing and the avocado was totally unexpected with the amazing rolls. My husband had salmon and everything was perfect with this place. Location in Portree was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dalriada. We felt very welcomed by Sally and Robin, the rooms were lovely, clean and fresh. Beautiful views and ideal location. We were spoilt with a lovely array of food for breakfast. Upon arrival, Sally had some yummy banana bread for us and as it was my birthday while staying, she also provided some birthday cupcakes which were delicious! We are travelling around the UK, staying at many places, Sally and Robin have certainly set the bar high and Dalriada is indeed our favourite stay. Thank you."

Peaceful, clean and efficient room. Breakfasts were excellent. Fresh fruit bowl was super. I was completely satisfied with fresh bread and cheese plate for breakfast. I’ve had plenty of meat and fish for other meals. Sally and Robin were very friendly and helpful. Made our trip to Skye exceptional!

Excellent breakfast plus little homemade treats for the evening delivered to the room. Sally and Robin went above and beyond to be helpful. I arrived by bus to Portree and when I sent a message asking if I would have trouble getting a taxi they said they would pick me up.

What a delight it was to stay at Dalriada. Even before we arrived, Sally and Robin were in touch with us to ensure that we had booked evening meals, because Skye is a busy destination. Our room was equipped with everything we might need -tea/coffee, biscuits, ensuite bathroom, comfortable pillows and bed, a spacious room and it was quiet. Sally was very thoughtful in considering the individual needs of guests. She knew we preferred fresh milk and even provided us with replenished supply without us asking. Each day we were provided with home baked treats to accompany our afternoon tea. The room was immaculately clean. Dalriada has a beautiful breakfast room, with a pretty view, decorated with many little local touches, making it very inviting to browse. we’ve been travelling across Scotland for several weeks and the breakfast at Dalriada is exceptional: a wonderful fruit salad and extensive healthy options to follow. we cannot recommend Dalriada highly enough. We’ll be telling friends and family planning to come to Skye. we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Book early!

Sally was so warm and welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. The room was nice, as was the bathroom. Breakfast, as others have noted, was very good! We didn't have a car with us but were able to walk the first time and otherwise take taxis to and from the property. We would stay here again.

Dalriada guest house is the perfect place to stay on Skye, its not far from Portree and if you enjoy walking, its a pleasant walk in. The guest house is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotless. Sally & Robin are the perfect hosts, genuinely interested in you and keen to make sure you get the best from your stay in Skye, with plenty of pointers from Robin. Breakfast is amazing with a huge choice and very generous portions. There is also parking, would definitely stay here again.
