We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesLocation in a retail park isn't very scenic and latte-night public transport from nearest train station has to be planned -- no taxis or Ubers. But it's only a 15-minute walk so ok without luggage.
Nice size room, comfortable bed, beautifully appointed, very nice bar, restaurant and lounge area. Close to Edinburgh Airport and the lovely historic village of Queensferry.

Service was excellent. The bed was one of the comfiest ever. Lovely feel to the entire hotel. The only reason for marking down 1 point is the bar is not cheap!!!

United KingdomThe bed was not comfortable and creaked - needs changing which was advised to reception on leaving. Others in the party that I travelled with, commented that they had great nights sleep.
I had stayed before at the hotel so knew it was a good location. Typically the standard room is dark as part of their ambient style - which I like but the double bed is best suited to one guest. We had a great meal in the restaurant and the waiter service was great - although very slow (I mean very slow) to get a drink prior to the meal. The breakfast was good, all freshly cooked.

The Dakota was the perfect hotel for our family, we had booked 4 rooms which were all together. We were attending a family wedding in South Queensferry, our rooms were ready early which was fab for us. The staff were all really helpful and attended to us very quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

We organised a shuttle and Craig the driver was great and very professional and efficient. Only 12 minutes from the airport. Our check in was good too and Keira was very helpful with all the info we needed. It was worth booking here for the short time we had instead ofthe dreary airprot Holiday Inn. There is a massive Tesco right next to the hotel as well as the beautiful little town of Queensferry about a 15 minute walk. We had a nice dinner by in the hotel and retired to our well decorated and comfy hotel room. The beds were comfortable, great shower and well lit bathroom. We were up at 3.30 and took our arranged taxi to the airport at 4.00am, it cost 25 Pounds as shuttle want working that early. All the staff we came into contact with were all so pleasant, what a pleasure. would definitly stay here again. There are bus routes outside hotel as well in case you wanted to go into Edinburgh .
